Naming this beer “the cluster” is only fitting because of the many varietals and regions of grapes used in our latest oenobeer. With Zinfandel and Merlot grapes from Lodi, Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from Napa Valley, and Grenache and Syrah grapes from Santa Barbara, the vinous character is balanced after cofermentation in a Black Tuesday base, resulting in a richly complex depth of flavor unlike anything you’ve tasted before.

Imperial stout with Syrah and Grenache grapes aged in French oak puncheons | 14.5% ABV
This is a rich GSM in beer form, sans the M. This delicious addition to our oenobeer lineup is made with Grenache and Syrah grapes, cofermented with Black Tuesday and aged in French oak puncheons. While Black Tuesday brings rich complexity and notes of dark chocolate and poached fig, Grenache grapes give bright, juicy fruit notes and Syrah grapes provide depth and a slight spice.

Inspired by the sweeping views and elevated landscape of the Atlas Peak AVA in Napa Valley, we set out to make another beer-wine hybrid treat with our good friends at Erosion Wine Co. We blended and fermented our Black Tuesday imperial stout on the skins and musts of Cabernet Sauvignon grapes grown in the elevated Atlas Peak AVA region, then aged it in French oak puncheons. The result transcends the boundary between beer and wine for a delightful indulgence.
