This Martin Standard Series HD-28e is a classic Martin Dreadnought, 14-fret beauty that boasts loads of performance features that make it a standout in the realm of acoustic guitars with electronics. 

With its D-14 fret body size, the HD-28e features forward-shifted X-bracing under its hood, designed by Martin to optimize resonance and projection. Its glossy spruce top, finished with an aging toner, creates a perfect canvas for a bold herringbone inlay, while the back and sides, made of East Indian Rosewood, also feature a gloss finish and intricate zig-zag back purfling/strip. The modern belly-style bridge is carved from ebony, and ensures precise string spacing of 2 5/32", while white plastic bridge pins with faux tortoise bridge pin dots hold string in place. A beautiful, teardrop-shaped tortoise shell pickguard acts as a focal point for the top of the guitar, directly below a multi-stripe rosette.

This HD-28e also features a modified low oval shaped neck, carved from select hardwood, and joining the body at the 14th fret. It offers a total scale length of 25.4" and 20 frets, and an ebony fingerboard that showcases inlays in the shape of diamonds/squares, made of abalone. 

The solid headstock of the HD-28e boasts a classic square taper and diamond shape. and is topped with nickel open gear tuning machines, and a headplate crafted from East Indian Rosewood that perfectly complements the instrument's overall design. A script old style Martin overlay marks the headstock.

Indicated by the "e" in its moniker, this HD-28e comes equipped with Fishman Aura VT Enhance electronics for amplification.

SPOT Bungee Raccoon
Purchased 5/20. Decent dog toy. I have a Chiyorkie and he chews on his toys constantly. The squeakers went after a couple of days and then he pulled them out. I put them in the trash. After about two months he had chewed off the head and pulled the bungee out. The bungee went in the trash. I let him play with head and tail pieces for a while but the head had gotten into bad shape so in the trash it went. That left about a twelve inch piece left. He has been playing with that now about a month. He loved tearing the toy up and I do not really blame the toy. He rips up anything that is made of cloth. The only real issue I have with the toy is the two squeakers. IMO they could cause a choking or bowel blocking hazard. I just happened to catch him chewing on them after he had gotten them back. An old knotted on each end knee sock works just about as well but from then on don't leave your socks laying around. They will be fair game for you pet. lol
