Introducing the Ernie Ball Music Man Stingray Special HH Bass in Kiwi Green with a Roasted Maple Neck and Ebony Fingerboard, a contemporary take on the classic 1987 model, now with enhanced features for exceptional performance and a visually striking appearance, complete with a matching headstock.
Designed with player comfort in mind, the revamped Stingray Special-style body ensures a delightful playing experience, even during extended jam sessions. This bass has been engineered to be almost one pound lighter than previous models, featuring lightweight Clover-style tuning machines and hardware. Constructed from carefully selected hardwood, the iconic Stingray body shape is accentuated by an aluminum-lined black oval-shaped pickguard, adding to its allure.
The neck of the Stingray Special HH is crafted from premium roasted maple, securely attached to the body with five bolts, and now boasting an elegant ebony fingerboard. Treated with a unique blend of special wax and gunstock oil, the back of the neck offers a comfortable feel for the fretting hand as it navigates the 11" radius fretboard with 22 high-wide style frets, providing a total scale length of 34".
Featuring soapbar-style neodymium humbuckers, this bass offers unparalleled tonal versatility, capturing dynamic playing nuances with a rich, low-end punch. The redesigned active pickups, tailored for bass, expand the sonic range to cover more of the EQ spectrum than standard bass pickups. The 18-volt preamp system, complete with a 3-band EQ, further enhances the instrument's versatility.
Drenched in a distinctive Kiwi Green hue, the StingRay HH demands attention, its body coated in high gloss polyester. The matching headstock adds a final touch of sophistication to an already exceptional instrument.
