The Carot One Gildolo integrated amplifier is an ultra-compact model with audiophile performance. Unlike the Carrot one Ernesto, which incorporates a tube preamplifier section, the manufacturer has opted for a classic transistor architecture with the Gildolo. The amplification section is entrusted, due to its size, to class T modules (equivalent to class D), the energy being supplied by a switching power supply. It is therefore a high-efficiency amplification. The Carot One Gildolo delivers up to 2x15 W under 4 ohms and can therefore power small speakers without difficulty. Its connectivity is complete, with several line inputs (mini-jack, RCA), speaker terminals and, the icing on the cake, a headphone output. This integrated amplifier is therefore a very good headphone amplifier.
