2019年に発売され再販を望む声が多かった幻のチョコミントカラーのDANNER FIELDを、 最新のDANNER FIELD Rのスペックで復刻。
"THE WORKHORSE"
DannerとTACOMA FUJI RECORDS。これまで幾度も協業を重ね、そのたび名作級のコラボアイテムを送り出してきた両者が、この秋、名作中の名作である”初代コラボブーツ”を復刻。
ベースモデルは、"DANNER FELD R”。1979年に世界で初めてゴアテックスを搭載した名作"DANNER LIGHT”をオマージュしながら最新テクノロジーを取り入れた1足。
ミント色の革は、ブーツのアウトサイド側とインサイド側とで、じつは表革とスエードを使い分けている。より汚れのつきやすいアウトサイド側の堅牢さをUPするための工夫であり、それがデザインアクセントにも。
アッパーデザインやディテールは、前述の通り"DANNERLIGHT”の意匠からインスパイアされたもの。そこに、奥行きある濃淡が特徴の防水レザーを採用し、ヴインテージテイストを表現しながら機能的に。
最新コラボブーツの特徴でもっとも特筆すべきは、アウトソールが刷新されたこと。これはVibram社と共同開発したS2584 Traction Cascadeソールで、Traction Lugの機構とMEGAGRIPコンバウンドを採用。
初代コラボモデルに比べると、つま先部分の先端は若干短く設計。 シューレースホールに沿って走るアイステー部分とヒールバーツ、それぞれにステッチを追加することで、細かくタフネスの増強。 クッション性の高いオーソライトのインソールまでコラボのプリント入りで、コダワリに余念ナシ。
