Craggy Range werd rond 1997 opgericht. De filosofie was om enkel de beste percelen in Nieuw-Zeeland te selecteren, om daar vervolgens enkel druivensoorten te planten die perfect passen bij het betreffende terroir. Daarmee was dit het eerste wijnhuis op het zuidelijk halfrond die op deze manier te werk ging. De Te Muna Road Vineyard ligt ongeveer zeven kilometer buiten de gemeente Martinborough. De wijngaard bestaat uit twee verschillende terrassen; de hogere bestaat uit zeer oude, steenachtige, met klei doordrenkte gronden, perfect voor Pinot Noir. Het lagere terras van jongere steenachtige bodems verweven met kalksteen biedt een uitstekende omgeving voor Sauvignon Blanc. Het koelere klimaat van Martinborough zorgt ervoor dat de wijn aromatisch is met een staalachtige mineraliteit, terwijl de rotsachtige bodems de intensiteit van het fruit geven. De warme, droge zomers en milde winters in de regio hebben geleid tot complexe en gestructureerde wijnen met subtiele aroma's en een elegante afdronk. Dat geldt ook voor deze heerlijke Sauvignon Blanc. Hij schittert in het glas met een citroengele kleur en groenachtige tinten. De druiven worden handmatig geoogst en vervolgens zorgvuldig geperst en gefermenteerd in een roestvrijstalen tank. Tot slot vindt de sur le uitbreiding (opslag op fijne droesem) in totaal 4 maanden plaats in gebruikte Franse barriques.Hoe smaakt de Craggy Range Sauvignon Blanc?
Het heerlijke boeket ontvouwt zich met de aroma's van nectarines, groene appel, kamperfoelie, limoen en brandnetel. Deze witte wijn uit Nieuw-Zeeland is weelderig en complex in de mond. Een levendige zuurgraad en tropisch fruit leiden tot een lange, minerale afdronk. High quality, but it makes a sound like crinkling.

I enjoy the warmth of this comforter. Yet very lightweight. It is not as big and fluffed up as the first photo. It does feel like hotel softness and has loops for a duvet cover. The only thing I don't like is the sound it makes. It crinkles when you move it around. If it made no sound I would rate 5 stars.

Hotel-like comfort at home

This Serta duvet has surprised me very positively. Since I took it out of the packaging it feels of good quality, with a soft and pleasant to the touch cotton fabric. The King size (106 x 90 inches) perfectly covers the bed and falls very well on the sides, which gives it an elegant look.
I like that it is of medium warmth, because it works well throughout the year without feeling too heavy or too light.
Another point in favor is that it is hypoallergenic, something important if you are sensitive to dust or certain materials. So far it has maintained its shape well and has not been lagged.
In general, it is a very good option if you are looking for a comfortable duvet, with the appearance of a hotel and that you can use in any season.

Adds comfort and support

I’ve been using this bamboo mattress topper for a couple of weeks now, and it completely changed the feel of my bed. My mattress was starting to feel too firm and uncomfortable, especially on my lower back and shoulders, but this topper added the perfect amount of cushioning without making the bed feel overly soft or saggy.
The cooling effect was one of the biggest surprises. I tend to sleep hot and usually wake up sweating during the night, but the bamboo-derived fabric feels breathable and much cooler than regular mattress pads I’ve owned before. It stays comfortable throughout the night and doesn’t trap heat like memory foam toppers sometimes do.
I also really appreciate the waterproof protection. It gives peace of mind without feeling stiff or making that annoying crinkling noise some waterproof covers have. The surface still feels soft, plush, and smooth. It honestly feels more like a hotel-style pillow top than a basic mattress pad.
The thickness is just right for pressure relief. It helped reduce the soreness I usually wake up with in my back, and I’ve been sleeping much more comfortably overall. The deep pockets also held securely on my twin mattress and didn’t slide around, even after moving a lot during sleep.
Another thing I liked was how fluffy and well-made it looked right out of the package. After letting it expand for a bit, it became nicely plush and evenly padded. The stitching seems durable, and it still looks great after washing.
If you’re looking for a softer, cooler sleeping surface with added waterproof protection and better support for aches and pains, this mattress topper is definitely worth it. It made my bed feel newer and far more comfortable without needing to buy a whole new mattress.
