Gary was dreamt up by the one and only Lee Kiernan from the band Idles and started as a simple request to create a compact version of the now discontinued Gray Channel, which was a mainstay on Lee's board, but with a deeper look into his dark side. Gary's right brain is a ripping fuzz tone with an envelope-controlled variable pulse width and enough volume to blow everything up. It turns the signal into a square wave and allows you to dynamically adjust the duty cycle with pick attack. Yes! Controls the sensitivity of the envelope. All the way down gets you a thick and heavy square wave fuzz tone that will sustain for days and go dead quiet when you stop playing. As you increase the Yes! control, the envelope becomes more interactive, and the pulse width narrows the harder you hit it. As the pulse width narrows, the tone becomes more nasal and biting. In other words, with higher sensitivity settings, the sound will disappear entirely and come cruising back to Gary's big guy tone. With proper playing dynamics, this creates a very cool effect that can sound like an exploding amp coming in and out of life, blown through a phase shifter. This effect can also be controlled with an expression pedal for manual operation or for finding just the right pulse width. When using an expression pedal, Yes! sets the peak of the sweep. Oosh acts as the master volume and has an insane amount of volume on tap! Gary's left brain is a simple and natural sounding overdrive that keeps your tone lively and drives your amp crazy. It is based on the green channel of our Gray Channel, which is our take on the classic little yellow overdrive that started it all for us. Lee used this pedal with the clipping switch permanently set to the middle position, which removes all the diodes from the circuit, producing a full-bodied, cutting opamp distortion with plenty of volume on tap. We have reproduced that tone here with exacting precision. Go sets the opamp drive and can range from a simple full-range clean boost all the way up to a smooth and natural distortion. In conjunction with That's It, which is the master volume for the drive side, you can use Gary's softer side as a clean boost to push your amp into overdrive or turn up Go and use all of Gary's internal magic to create the finely tuned dirt you desire. Gary's signal path is fuzz into overdrive for total tonal integrity and cannot be changed. - Developed with Lee Kiernan from the band Idles! - Dynamic pulse width modulated fuzz paired with a natural-sounding op-amp overdrive. - Fuzz pulse width modulation is dynamically controlled by the on-board envelope or an external expression control. - Yes!" Controls the sensitivity for the envelope or sets the pulse width limit when using an expression pedal. - "Oosh" is the master volume for the fuzz. - Overdrive section from the legendary and sought-after Gray Channel, capable of producing thick, full distortion or for use as a clean boost. - "Go" is the gain control for the overdrive. - "That's It" is the master volume for the overdrive. - All-analog signal path - True bypass - Silent relay-based switching with Flexi-Switch® Technology - Lifetime warranty"Shipping Notes

Reliable Clarity and a Solid Seal: A Great Value for Daily Laps
Color: Aqua
The Aegend Swim Goggles are a popular choice for recreational and fitness swimmers because they solve the two biggest complaints people have with goggles: leaking and discomfort. They manage to feel professional without the intimidating "race-only" fit of elite models.
Why they are a winner in the pool:
- Truly Leak-Proof Seal: They live up to the "no leaking" promise. The flexible silicone gaskets are soft and wide, creating a reliable suction that keeps water out without having to overtighten the strap to an uncomfortable degree.
- Panoramic Clarity: The lenses offer a wide field of vision with excellent "Full Protection" against UV rays. The anti-fog coating performs well initially, providing a clear, HD view of the lane lines and other swimmers around you.
- Comfortable Bridge Design: Unlike old-school goggles that pinch the bridge of the nose, these feature an ergonomic, flexible nose piece. It adapts to different face shapes easily, making them a great fit for both adults and youth.
- Easy-Adjust Strap: The quick-release clasp at the back is a major convenience. You can put them on and take them off without snagging your hair (especially helpful if you're using them with that Aegend swim cap), and adjusting the tension is a simple one-handed task.
They are a dependable, high-comfort pair of goggles that let you focus on your stroke instead of constantly clearing out water.

Mostly good goggles, discomfort on nose-bridge - not for big noses!
Color: Black (Black-color Lens)
It's difficult to find good quality goggles that I actually like, but these get pretty close. For context I swim every Monday before work as a workout, so there's a few aspects I look for/are important for me and these tick most of the boxes.
1) Comfort - Probably the most important factor. These are very comfortable around the eyes, the rubber is soft and they don't leave rings. My old goggles always did and walking into work with "raccoon eyes" turns heads. These don't leave rings and are still watertight. Only complaint is the plastic over the nose-bridge is angled inward, towards your nose, instead of outward away from your nose/following the line of your nose away from your face. And it's thick, so it digs into my nose. It's not a game-killer but I feel it and it's uncomfortable. It will be the thing that pushes me to try a different pair next time. If you have a "big" nose or one that curves outward from the top, I don't recommend these goggles. They will be uncomfortable for you.
2) Clarity - These are very clear and don't distort your vision underwater. They don't fog up (at least for now) and provide a wide range of vision. Good work.
3) Fitting - The strap is easy and intuitive to adjust but leaves a bit to be desired as it's a single strap around the back of your head. I like the security of 2 straps/a split strap that straddles the back of your head holding the goggles firm in place and preventing up/down movement. The good news is I haven't had issues with this yet, so it could just be a change in what I'm used to that makes no functional difference, but I'd be a little concerned to dive off a starting block as I'd worry they might release. Again, I HAVE NOT done this and I haven't had any issues, it is just a feeling. The button quick-release is a nice effortless way to pop them off when I finish and I'm tired!
4) Other - The case is a nice touch! I hate my goggles getting scratched and this helps prevent that. Nice to have.
Overall - They are comfortable around the eyes, don't leave rings, are clear & don't fog up, and functionally have been great with the quick-release & included case. They may be uncomfortable on "big" or "protruding" noses due to nose-bridge design & thickness.
4 stars because they dig into my nose a bit...and I never thought I had a funny nose but maybe I do!

Great customer support, but blurry underwater for me.
Color: Blue Hawaii
I'm a casual lap swimmer who swims 30 minutes every day. Needed some decent goggles and saw the Aegend brand was a highly rated bestseller. I first ordered the mirrored version of this lens which is essentially identical to this clear version. Was really excited to hit the pool when I received the goggles. Love the strap system on these Aegends which adjust on the back and has a quick release button...my other goggles have a little short strap that adjusts at the temple and it drives me crazy. Goggles are very comfortable and never fogged up during my swim. Nice field of view.
What's the issue then? These goggles are perfectly fine and clear above water, but blurry underwater. The blurriness is like a prism effect. My local YMCA has small tiles and with these goggles the tile lines were duplicated several times over. The effect isn't bad and perhaps some may be able to live with it, but it was annoying to me. Contacted Aegend customer service and they asked if I was myopic (no) and offered to send a replacement free of charge including a choice of couple different models. I chose instead to return the mirrored version and rebuy this clear one thinking perhaps the mirrored tint had something to do with it. Second pair of goggles arrived and same thing--clear above water and blurry underwater. Aegend says not everybody's eyeballs are built the same and again offered to replace the goggle free of charge including to their flat lens which shouldn't have the blurry prism effect. I declined since I know the strap design on their flat lens goggle would drive me crazy.
So in summary--these goggles are great and customer support is first rate. But I cannot give the goggles 5 stars since they didn't work for my eye profile and caused everything underwater to be blurry. Doesn't seem like the majority of people buying these goggles have the same issue though so I wouldn't hesitate buying them to see if they work for you.
UPDATE 2/14/17. I'm revising my review to 5-stars. Aegend once again contacted me and tried to make things right. They had another swim goggles with the clasp on the back like the one for this product but with a flat lens (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MTXI8SV). These new goggle work great and are clear underwater. Can't say enough about a company that stands by their products like Aegend.

Excellent Goggles — Comfortable, Secure, and No Leaks
Color: Aqua
These goggles are excellent quality and were very easy to adjust. They have good suction and fit nice and tight without being uncomfortable and stayed secure the entire time I was swimming. Not much for style, but these do look pretty cool.
I wore them for about an hour with no issues at all—they remained comfortable and didn’t leak, which is a huge plus. The seal held up well without leaving painful pressure marks.
The included case is also a great bonus and makes storage and travel easy. Overall, a very solid pair of goggles that perform exactly as expected. Definitely recommend.
