Het meest opmerkelijke kenmerk van de RITCHEY WCS BEACON Blatte Di2 compatibel stuur is de enorme Drop Flare, met maar liefst 36°. Naast het ergonomische comfort en de ongeëvenaarde stabiliteit biedt het ook veel ruimte voor fietstassen in bikepacking-stijl.

In afdalingen verdubbelt de Beacon zijn comfort met een zeer lage drop van 80 mm en een even lage reach van 65 mm. Het bovendeel in Evo-stijl biedt voldoende ondersteuning voor de handen in het ovaalvormige gebied en een lichte hoek naar achteren voor een natuurlijkere handpositie tijdens lange klimmen naar de top.

De Beacon is geïnspireerd op de wereld van het wandelen en maakt het gemakkelijk om je handen rond het stuur te bewegen zonder het rijgedrag van de fiets te verstoren, zelfs als deze volgeladen is met spullen. Tijdens het fietsen zorgt het veranderen van de positie van je handen op het stuur ervoor dat je lichaam zich kan strekken en ontspannen. Met het Beacon stuur gebeurt dit in alle veiligheid.
