Cetirizine Teva 10mg is een effectief anti-allergisch geneesmiddel in de vorm van filmomhulde tabletten. Elke tablet bevat 10 mg cetirizine dihydrochloride als actief bestanddeel. Dit medicijn biedt verlichting bij verschillende allergische aandoeningen.

Indicaties: waarvoor gebruik ik dit product?

Cetirizine Teva 10mg wordt gebruikt bij:

  • Verlichting van neus- en oogklachten bij seizoensgebonden en niet-seizoensgebonden allergische rhinitis.
  • Behandeling van chronische idiopathische urticaria (netelroos) en de bijhorende symptomen (zoals jeuk).

Gebruiksaanwijzing

De standaarddosis voor volwassenen en kinderen vanaf 6 jaar is eenmaal daags 1 tablet (10 mg).

Bij erge sedatie neemt u dit geneesmiddel best 's avonds in voor het slapengaan. Indien u geen last heeft dan sedatie kan u evengoed dit geneesmiddel innemen 's ochtends bij het ontbijt. U kan de keuze individueel bespreken in samenspraak met uw dokter en apotheker.

Heeft u voortdurend klachten? Gebruik cetirizine elke dag. Heeft u maar af en toe last? Neem het dan in als u klachten krijgt (of een uur voor u verwacht last te krijgen).

Contra-indicaties: wanneer gebruik ik dit product niet?

Raadpleeg uw arts of apotheker als u overgevoelig bent voor cetirizine of een van de andere bestanddelen.

Gebruik cetirizine niet bij een ernstig gestoorde nierfunctie (creatinineklaring < 15 ml/min) of als u dialysepatiënt bent.

Voorzorgsmaatregelen

Sedatie en sufheid kan optreden bij inname van dit medicijn. Sedatie is echter zeer individueel, en ook afhankelijk van de inname van andere sederende geneesmiddelen of alcohol. Aangezien dit medicijn valt onder de groep 'niet-sederende allergiepillen' is slaperigheid in regel niet te verwachten, echter is het niet uit te sluiten dat u juist wel slaperigheid ervaart. In dit geval zal de dokter kijken voor een ander type allergiepil. 

Antihistaminica beïnvloeden de uitslagen van allergietesten. Houd een 'wash out' periode van 3 dagen aan.

Overleg met uw arts of apotheker als u andere medicijnen gebruikt.

Wat met autorijden, alcohol drinken en andere voeding?

Cetirizine Teva 10mg valt onder de categorie 'niet-sederende allergiepillen'. Echter is het individueel mogelijk dat u wel slaperigheid ervaart. Wees voorzichtig bij het besturen van voertuigen of het bedienen van machines als u toch suf zou zijn. Vermijd alcohol tijdens de behandeling aangezien dit de sufheid erger kan maken. Er zijn geen specifieke voorwaarden met betrekking tot de voeding.

Wat als ik zwanger ben of borstvoeding geef?

Als er een allergiepil noodzakelijk is tijdens de zwangerschap of de borstvoeding gaat in de praktijk de voorkeur naar een kortdurend gebruik van Cetirizine en Loratadine.

Op het einde van de zwangerschap is er extra voorzichtigheid nodig, vanwege het sederende risico van de allergiemedicatie. 

Bij borstvoeding zal men de baby ook strikt monitoren op: sedatie , slecht drinken, droge mond.

Neem dit echter nooit in op eigen initiatief en laat u altijd bijstaan door uw arts of apotheker bij onduidelijkheden of bezorgdheden.

U kunt Cetirizine Teva 10mg meestal zonder problemen stoppen. Het is belangrijk dat u zich goed laat begeleiden bij het stoppen van bepaalde medicijnen.

Overall sound thesis worthy of thoughtful consideration

Choudary’s book has the tag line, “Who wins when AI restacks the knowledge economy.” While the book is annoying in sections, vague in others, and prone to jargon in yet more locations, the basic thesis is sound and compelling. It’s worth considering. Choudary’s main argument is that the winners after AI technology is widely adopted will be those who take a systems view of their business rather than simply upgrading individual elements within it. He backs this with several examples based on past technological disruptions and hypothetical case studies. He argues that the best advantages from AI will come from improved communication and managing risk. He supports these arguments reasonably well within the chapters. He also includes 10 Takeaways at the end of each chapter, which is extremely helpful for recapping and making sure the reader understood the thesis. What gets annoying is Choudary goes back to the same case studies again and again and again. I reached the point of saying, “the horse is dead. Please stop flogging it.” Next, some of his arguments about things like “managing risk” are vague—there’s not enough about specific risks to be useful, which leaves AI as a magic wand to wave. Finally, as with many business writers, Choudary occasionally (but not overwhelmingly) drops into jargon like “technological solutionism.” Overall, I recommend the book. It’s made me think, even as I struggle to apply the principles to my own business.
