Toshiba/EMI Japan issued this release as part of Japan's "Country Flag" OBI / EAS re-issue series of the Beatles Japanese LP catalog which began in 1976. This is title n° 29 in the series, with UK flag OBI. Originally released in UK June 1976. Recording notes: -Pressed from a copy of a UK master, as identified by the matrix stamp, so the channels are not reversed (as the US version) Packaging notes: -Jacket is same as the US design with foil effect and gatefold sleeve (no embossing) and custom labels, with obvious text differences for Japan. -Discs are paired by 1/2 and 3/4 -Odeon logo on the front jacket in upper left front. -Includes poster and 24-page booklet -Includes bio-lyric sheet insert (in English & Japanese) -Discs comes with clear rice-paper inner sleeve. -OBI states ‎¥4,600 Mfd. by Toshiba-EMI Ltd., Japan ℗1976 EMI Records Limited EAS-77009-10 on booklet, EAS-77009•10 on cover.
