Het vrij uitgesproken karakter van Amarone wijnen vraagt om smaakvolle gerechten zoals geroosterd rood vlees, wild, stoofpotjes en gerijpte en sterke kazen maar ook fantastisch om zo, als wijn op zich, van te genieten.

klimaat

Relatief mild en continentaal klimaat dat sterk beïnvloed wordt door de Middellandse zee in het zuiden en de bergen in het noorden. Relatief droge winters en relatief vochtige zomers met voldoende afkoeling tijdens de nacht.

ondergrond

Negrar bevindt zich in het hart van de Valpolicella regio. De bodems zijn van vulkanische oorsprong en bevatten vooral kalksteen, klei en leisteen. De druiven worden gesnoeid volgens het klassieke Pergola "Veronese" snoeisysteem.

vinificatie

Corvina (33%), Corvinone (33%) en Rondinella (33%). Licht overrijpe druiven worden met de hand geplukt in oktober. Na 90-100 dagen in speciale droogruimtes worden de druiven geperst en in inox vaten overgepompt waar ze 30-40 dagen fermenteren met de pelletjes. Dagelijks vermengen van het sap en de pelletjes waardoor een maximale extractie wordt verkregen. Daarna rijpt de wijn 4 tot 5 jaar verder op een blend van oude Franse vaten en grote Sloveense eiken fusten.

Ok, I like the idea of this but the assembly is frustrating. One side lined up perfectly with the holes however, the small bars that connect the screen to base is not lining up. I think it's do the fabric the screen or divider is made of. It's not stretchy. I brought this months ago and just opened it today. I'm upset and don't even think returning it is possible. If the material was a bit longer or stretchy to give a little room to work with this divider would be great. However, I'm not sure what I can use it for since I'm unable to attach it to the bottom. Beware! Don't wait like me. Tip for the manufacturer. Next time invest in Velcro dividers so the fabric can be adjusted with ease. Literally if I take the screen off the frame aligns perfectly. However, it defeats its purpose of privacy. I might buy some material myself and create a more flexible divider. Or I'll buy Velcro myself and attach to the bottom. I don't know yet.
