Tijdens het ontladen worden de accusets van elkaar gescheiden door de Argofet. Wanneer bijvoorbeeld de accessoire accu ontladen wordt, zal de start accu volledig geladen blijven. Het grote voordeel van FET (Field Effect Transistor) laadstroomverdelers is het zeer geringe spanningsverlies:

Net zoals de bekende Argodiode laadstroomverdelers, zijn de Argofet laadstroomverdelers bedoeld om meerdere accusets gelijktijdig te laden met één dynamo of acculader. Tijdens het ontladen worden de accusets van elkaar gescheiden door de Argofet. Wanneer bijvoorbeeld de accessoire accu ontladen wordt, zal de start accu volledig geladen blijven. Het grote voordeel van FET (Field Effect Transistor) laadstroomverdelers is het zeer geringe spanningsverlies: minder dan 0,02 Volt bij weinig stroom en 0,1 Volt bij maximale stroom. De uitgangsspanning van de dynamo hoeft niet verhoogd te worden wanneer een Argofet laadstroomverdeler wordt toegepast. Dynamo energize aansluiting Sommige dynamo s beginnen alleen met laden indien er spanning aanwezig is op de B+ aansluiting. Wanneer de dynamo direct op een accu is aangesloten, zal er spanning op de B+ aansluiting staan. Een diode of FET laadstroomverdeler isoleert echter de accu s van de dynamo zodat deze niet zal starten. De nieuwe Argofet laadstroomverdelers hebben een aparte stroom begrensde Energize aansluiting waarmee spanning op de B+ aansluiting gezet kan worden wanneer het contactslot van de motor in de contactstand gezet wordt. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!
Bought 3 year warranty for new Dyson vacuum for $76. On day 2 the battery for vacuum would not lock into place. In order to have a functioning vacuum as quickly as possible, I purchased a second battery from Amazon. That resolved the problem, proving the battery was the problem, not the vacuum. I filed a claim with Assurion, which included sending photos, receipts, etc. The claim was still "processing" for a week. I got on a chat with Assurion, and for nearly an hour I tried to explain why it was unnecessary for me to return the whole vacuum. I asked for a supervisor, but they advised me to call because no supervisor was available. I called, and after finally getting through the computer system, I got the same run around. Finally a supervisor came on the line to tell me that this was actually an Amazon or a Dyson problem, and that I would need to return the entire vacuum. Also they would not "reimburse" for the battery I purchased. I never wanted reimbursement, I only wanted a functional battery - which is what I paid for. The supervisor told me I could "contact" Amazon. Everyone knows there is no human to contact at Amazon. You can keep the product, or you can return the product. As previously stated, I do not want to return the vacuum. Finally, the supervisor connected my call to Dyson. They refused to help me because I purchased the vacuum through Amazon. After two wasted hours, I ended up just where I suspected I would...without any help at all. I am going to try to "return" the useless Assurion warranty.
