ONZE regenboog vlag staat voor een inclusieve en kleurrijke samenleving. Dat zie je terug in de verschillende stukjes gerecycled textiel waaruit ze is opgebouwd. Alle stukjes hebben een andere herkomst, grootte en kleur. Daardoor is elke vlag uniek – net als wij allemaal.

Duurzaam
Gewone vlaggen worden vaak weggegooid als ze beginnen te rafelen. ONZE vlag bestaat niet alleen uit restmateriaal, maar is door het circulaire ontwerp ook eenvoudig te repareren en kan daardoor dus steeds opnieuw worden gebruikt.

Handgemaakt door Rotterdam Inclusief - het leerwerkbedrijf van de gemeente Rotterdam – waar kwetsbare landgenoten in een veilige omgeving worden geholpen om een nieuw ambacht te leren.

Elke vlag wordt gemaakt van gerecyclede kleding en reststoffen die met hulp van ONZE partners worden ingezameld, gesorteerd, op maat geknipt en zorgvuldig in elkaar genaaid. Door dit intensieve proces kost het een hele dag om één vlag te maken.

Omdat ONZE vlag met de hand wordt gemaakt van gerecyclede stoffen zijn alle vlaggen uniek en kunnen er verschillen in afwerking en kleur voorkomen.
