The RØDE Blimp is a complete windshield and shock mounting accessory for the NTG1, NTG2, NTG3, NTG4 and NTG4+ microphones, as well as any third party shotgun microphone up to 325mm (12 ¾”) in length. Now featuring the Rycote® Lyre suspension system, the Blimp provides the ultimate in microphone suspension and isolation. Constructed from a single piece of hard-wearing thermoplastic, the Lyre provides superior acoustic suspension to traditional elastic solutions, and will never wear out, sag or snap. The Blimp’s handle has also been completely redesigned, reducing the product weight significantly, while increasing the ergonomics for handheld use. Housed inside the grip is a heavy-duty Mogami cable which splits via a junction box to a highly-flexible thin cable inside the Blimp, to minimise the transference of vibration to the microphone. With the lightweight design of the handle and suspension system the new Blimp design is over 25% lighter (550gm without microphone or DeadWombat fitted). The Blimp attaches to any standard boompole via 3/8" thread attachment at the base. The Universal Blimp Mount is available as an option to remove the handle when the Blimp is being used primarily on a boompole to reduce weight. The Dead Wombat windshield, caring brush and tail/patch cable are included. The added confidence of a full ten year warranty* ensures that the Blimp is by far the best microphone windshield system available, further evidenced by a 2009 Red Dot Award and Australian International Design Award for outstanding product design. *Excludes normal wear and tear of Dead Wombat furry cover or any misuse, modification or improper storage and transportation of the product.Shipping Notes

FUN AND DONE!

First, I looove that I could get this dog toy in my favorite color! The orange color also helps to locate it, if your doggo has rolled it somewhere you don't know.
This bowl toy is very durable, safe, and easy to pull open and fill. The only reason I don't give it 5 Stars is because the opening is so big, after it's closed, that unless you have pretty large pieces/treats in it, or jam-pack them in, they easily fall out, when my dog rolls the toy around.
What I do, is put a whole Greenie in the bowl and then add treats around it. She's thrilled to have a treat or two spill out, as she rolls the bowl around. But what really keeps her occupied is trying to get to the Greenie. This is where the durability plays such a key role! Our dog is a Pit-Terrier and an extremely aggressive chewer, but the fold in the bowl is so strong that even her attempts to chew through it or claw it out don't work. That said, I would still supervise your dog's play with this. I know, if she really wanted to, our dog could eventually chew through the strong material to get to the Greenie, but thank goodness it's too thick and too wedged in to be worth all that time. The awkward shape of the bowl also makes it hard for her to grip it in her mouth foe chewing.
For a dog's quick fun, amusement, and reward, this is a winner!!

After two years pups still love this

My pups really love this ball and they spend a long time trying to get kibbles or freeze dried chicken. It’s been 2 years since purchase and it’s still in good shape. I highly recommend.

Great for mental stimulation. Durable for my chewers!

Love these! Quality material, safe for dogs — I make my dogs home made freezer treats and fill these up with it, and serve. Keeps them busy for hours. It’s also fun for them to roll it around to get regular treats out of. Toy + treats = a very happy pup. This size I got for my puppy. The larger ones I use for my adult dogs. Super cute too, and silent! I have Mini Aussies, so it’s great mental stimulation for them. Tires them out.

No challenge once they figure it out once, or if they have a long nose

The first time I used this with my 9 month old Shepard mix, it was great. We used about 1/3 cup of her kibble and added the Nook to make it harder. It kept her working for 20-30 minutes. However, now that she knows how to remove the Nook, and stick her snout into the opening and lick up the kibble, it lasts about 5 minutes, and is no longer a challenge. She still enjoys playing with this, even when it is empty, and hasn't it destroyed it yet, so for that 3 stars.

Awesome toy, add peanut butter

I love this, and so does my dog! Yes, plain kibble can fall out too easily, so I put a blob of peanut butter in too and that helps it stick better. Bigger treats work great, as well. Its big and slippery enough that she can't rip it apart, which is great. Absolutely recommend, it's cute to see my dog flip and nose this around. I will probably getting the purple one too, as they are quite affordable. A+
