Deze topwijn uit de Valpolicellastreek is droog en fluwelig. Deze intens donkerrode wijn geurt naar vanille, toast en hout en in de verte ook naar kruiden. De smaak is krachtig en vol, mooi afgerond. Een echte 'powerwijn', maar dan wel met veel finesse en elegantie. Truffel, leer, chocola zijn elementen die eveneens zijn terug te vinden. Een prachtwijn met een grote complexiteit! De Amarone wordt gemaakt volgens de traditionele Italiaanse manier. De druiven voor de Amarone komen altijd van de best gelegen wijngaarden en de mooiste trossen. Om de druiven niet te beschadigen worden ze voorzichtig met de hand geplukt. Daarna worden ze voorzichtig naast elkaar in kratten in donkere, goed geventileerde schuren te drogen gelegd. Dit proces duurt enkele maanden. De druiven verliezen hierdoor 25 à 40 procent aan vocht, waardoor de concentratie van suiker, aroma- en smaakstoffen toeneemt. Na het drogen worden de druiven ontsteeld en voorzichtig geperst. Vervolgens vindt een langzame gisting plaats die ongeveer veertig dagen duurt. Nog niet alle suikers zijn dan vergist. De Amarone laat men vervolgens heel langzaam op grote fusten uitgisten. Het resultaat is een zware en droge rode wijn die lang bewaard kan worden. De Amarone is een geweldige begeleider voor geroosterde vleesgerechten, wild en bij oude kazen.Deze topwijn uit de Valpolicellastreek is droog en fluwelig. Fits our 2012 X5d perfectly. Do yourself a favor and youtube the process for replacing these. You'll see it's well worth doing yourself rather than paying a shop that charges a BMW premium on everything. Also something I learned recently... this is a low cost high charge item at the mechanic. A lot of times when they suggest replacing these it's because they just tick the box and don't actually look at them. We had our mechanic admit this on a recent service where it was suggested to replace, when we had just done it ourselves in April.

Perfect fit for our 2018 X5 35D
Perfect fit. Never replaced a filter in this car before and took me only 13 minutes. I timed it lol. That includes taking some before and after pictures from the old and new filter. What is worth mentioning is that the car was until now under the “fake maintenance” from BMW that comes with a new car and goes until 36.000 miles. Up to this mileage there is no other service the. The oil changes (3) due. The first real checkup is at a higher mileage and not covered anymore. Anyway , those filters where replaced before from a BMW dealership. When I compare the new filters and the filters I took out of the car they look the same. I was expecting to find some BMW marks on the installed filter but perhaps they don’t put their name in it anymore??? Or it could be they also put “after market” parts in. Anyway, BMW quoted me in all seriousness 700 dollar to replace those filters and the Inside filter The inside filter is on its way and is 25 dollar. Together with those filters the parts came to 55 dollar and I guess a total of 30 minute of work. Well done BMW, lol. We all need to make a living buy that should be considered “robbery” Anyway, if you thinking about replacing those filters then go for it. It’s not complicated and all you need is a screw driver to get one plastic river out that you can push back in once you are done. Those filters here from MANN are the real deal and fit perfectly and state that they are made in Germany. I have no reason not to believe it.

It seems to be working well, so far. The check engine light turned off and the my vehicle seems to be running well. Be sure to follow the instructions. A while back, I wasted some money on a different catalytic converter cleaner because I put the cleaner in on a full tank of gas. It's best to wait until you're at a half tank or less of gasoline before you put in your catalytic converter cleaner. Also, I drove around right after I put in the catalytic converter cleaner and before I filled up my tank again. A couple of days later, I went to the gas station and topped off my tank.
