Het gebied heeft een klimaat dat tussen een mediterraan en maritiem klimaat inzit. Het heeft warme zomers en milde winters maar wel neerslag het hele jaar door.

Glacial-moreneplateaus. Hier gekomen door een oergletsjer met zand- en kleigrond.

vinificatie

85% Chardonnay, 10% Pinot Noir en 5% Pinot Blanc. Cuvée: 80% van de wijn komt van druiven uit onze migliori best cru en 20% van vintage wijnen. Druivenpluk gebeurt handmatig. Zachte persing van de beste druiven, niet meer dan 55% van de opbrengst. Een deel ervan wordt gefermenteerd in stalen vaten bij een gecontroleerde temperatuur en een deel in eiken vaten. Rijping op fles gedurende 24 maanden.
