Voor de Kolaka kruk worden dikke rotanvezels, die alleen met veel tijd en vakmanschap kunnen worden verwerkt, in een gebogen, tijdloze vorm met drie poten gebracht. Hierdoor staat hij stabiel op iedere ondergrond en past hij in iedere woonomgeving.
Als meubelstuk van natuurlijk rotan is de kruk ongelooflijk licht, waardoor hij gemakkelijk te verplaatsen is en dus in verschillende kamers te gebruiken is. Ondanks het fijne materiaal is het zitvlak van dunne, kunstig geweven rotanvezels zeer robuust en extreem duurzaam, zelfs bij veelvuldig gebruik.
Kolaka is ook verkrijgbaar in het zwart.

Onze producten zijn kunstig vervaardigde individuele stukken. Ze kunnen enigszins variëren in grootte, kleur en vorm als gevolg van de handmatige productie en natuurlijke variaties in materialen.

Hoofdmateriaal: rotan
Onze ontlasting is gemaakt van plantaardige vezels. Ze ruiken en voelen daarom heerlijk naar de natuur.
Rotanpalmen groeien meestal in grote aantallen in dichte bossen, waar ze worden beschouwd als invasieve planten, ruimte innemen van andere planten en veel voedingsstoffen uit de bodem halen. De stengels, die zonder chemische toevoegingen snel teruggroeien, moeten regelmatig worden afgesneden en kunnen na het droogproces worden gebruikt als materiaal voor meubels en manden. Dit maakt rotan tot een uiterst duurzaam en ruimschoots verkrijgbaar materiaal.

Bij de selectie van onze lokale producenten hechten wij waarde aan een eerlijk loon en goede arbeidsomstandigheden. In de fabrieken waar we onze goederen kopen, werken we alleen met volwassen en ervaren ambachtslieden. Bij het productieproces worden geen schadelijke chemicaliën gebruikt. Omdat alle werkstappen met de hand worden uitgevoerd, genereert het productieproces nauwelijks uitstoot van broeikasgassen. Dit alles verzekeren wij door regelmatige bezoeken ter plaatse en permanent persoonlijk contact met de bedrijven.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!

Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.

So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters.
That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception.
SPOILER:
The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured.
I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

Fun with a late blooming omega

I like this book. The story is fun, cute, and sexy. There's just a little drama, some excellent, steamy scenes, and a fairly good relationship building storyline. I especially like how all the main characters are a bit older than the usual 20 somethings I tend to see in this kind of book.
Having said that, I wish there were more descriptions of the places, as well as the food in the fancy restaurant. I enjoyed the cocktails at the club, so I missed that kind of detail when Gray took Madison on a dinner date. I also wish there had been more interaction between Lucas and Madison, and Lucas and Rian. It felt a bit lopsided, with a focus on Rian, Madison, and Gray.
I wish it had been proofread - there are a lot of typos, but nothing too distracting.
