1965-1970 Chevy Impala/Bel Air Rear Upper Seat Spring Complete Repair Kit is a reproduction of the original GM part. This set includes ALL the upper seat spring material, edgewire, and clips required to do a complete upper seat restoration. In 1967 they changed the spring pattern to a "lightning" shaped setup. This set can be used as a replacement. NOTE: the springs do not come pre-assembled. The spring material and edgewire will come in a coil and will have to be cut, bent and formed to the proper lengths. The spring pattern fits wonderfully with the original wire. The upper seat spring wire gauge is thinner than the lower seat since it takes less weight. We also sell the thicker wire for the lower portion of the seat. We recommend that you keep the original seat wire to use as a pattern to know where to bend and cut the springs.
