Korg Poly-800 Vintage Keyboard Synthesiser

The Poly-800 was released by Korg in 1983. It is an Analogue synthesiser however is digitally controlled. The Poly-800 is fully programmable synthesiser featuring 49 keys, two buttons for data entry, and a joystick controller, which modulates the DCO pitch or the VCF. It has 8-voice polyphony with one DCO per voice. It can also be switched into double mode which stacks two DCOs for a fuller sound, but reduces the polyphony to 4 voices.

This unit features the reverse keys!

Condition: 
  • This is a used unit

  • Cosmetically the unit is in good condition for its age! It shows some general signs of use and age like some marks, nicks and scratches. There are some small sections where the finish has rubbed off. Mainly around the volume knob and on the edges / corners. Nothing major. Please see all photos. 

  • This unit is a an early model which does not feature the internal memory battery. This unit uses 6 x C batteries to hold the memory. This unit will ship with the 6 x C batteries and the factory presets loaded so you are ready to plug and play. Please ensure to use the supplied power supply to power on the unit. 

  • This unit uses a a 9V negative centre power adaptor. A generic power supply will be included for AU buyers only.
     
  • This sale is for the Poly-800 and PSU only. Nothing else is included in this sale.

This book will singlehandedly transform the way you study the bible. To quote from the book, "Study the bible not just to learn more about God but to know and love Him more." Buy this book; you won't regret it.

Not bad; not your father's hermeneutics construct, however
Format: Hardcover
Very different approach to hermeneutics. I think their five step construct, or "journey," is a little more complicated than it needs to be. On the other hand, the construct is helpful to the layman because it gets the reader to recognize that the biblical cultural-historical-theological frame of reference needs to be understood in today's sense before an accurate interpretation can be rendered and then properly (or correctly) applied. Rather than send the reader to a plethora of works that offer such explanations, the authors should consider adding a chapter that provides an explanation on the most common differences between then and now on the subject and leave the reader to seek more detail in these other works. As it is, I feel left wanting for this understanding. Now, I like the videos of each chapter in the electronic edition; most of these do a good job communicating the chapter.
