PowerRing™ Shaft-Hub Locks provide a keyless, extreme high strength connection between components and round shafts. They feature a smooth, non-marring bore which contracts securely onto a shaft while expanding the OD tightly into the I.D. of a hub. Fully adjustable, they are balanced to minimize vibration at high speeds, and prevent backlash damage caused by heavy loads.

They are easy to install by tightening the locking bolts around the device’s face. When these bolts are tightened, multiple internal taper rings produce the frictional forces necessary to join the shaft and hub allowing the transmission of high torque and axial loads.

Simplifying the timing of matched components, PowerRing™ Keyless Shaft-Hub Locks are ideal for mounting gears, sprockets, pulleys and related devices.

Unless the price is better than it is now, and already having one, I doubt I'd buy it again. Most of this is just my own opinion based on personal preference. The overall manufacturing quality seems very good. Someone else might think this is the nicest pullover they own.
