7075 Aluminum UAV Pitot Tube (Airspeed Tube)

Look, they say it is not the size of your pitot tube that matters, it is the accuracy of your dynamic pressure data. But let's be honest: at a massive 295mm overall length, yours is going to be visibly larger than the other pilots' on the flightline, and we know that matters to you. Ego boosts aside, if you are flying medium or large composite wing UAVs, guessing true wind speed based on ground telemetry is a guaranteed recipe for an ArduPilot EKF failsafe.

This quick-detach UAV airspeed tube is machined from aerospace-grade alloy to handle the exact abuse commercial operations throw at it. Whether you are drowning in CAA paperwork or battling freezing UK rain, a precise pitot tube feeds your PX4 flight controller the critical telemetry needed to prevent stalls. We have 10 years of experience manufacturing commercial FPV systems, and we know firsthand that wing-stalling a £10k payload because of bad airflow data is a terrible look for your bottom line.

Key Highlights

  • 7075 Aerospace Aluminum: Machined from high-grade aviation hard aluminum for maximum rigidity and resistance to the elements.
  • Quick-Release Design: Quickly disassembled for transport without having to re-route or rip your silicone tubing.
  • Unapologetic Length: A 240mm external reach ensures the sensors sit well outside boundary layers and propeller wash.

Why You Want It

Because explaining a wind-induced stall to a surveying client is significantly harder than installing a proper sensor. This extended airspeed tube pushes the dynamic and static pressure ports way out into clean, undisturbed air—proving that sometimes, extra length really does result in better performance.

Specifications

  • Material: 7075 aviation hard aluminum
  • Suitability: Medium and large fixed-wing / composite wing VTOL UAVs
  • Total Length: 295mm
  • External Length: 240mm
  • Mounting Hole Distance: 14mm
  • Weight: Data unavailable (The manufacturer was apparently too busy admiring the sheer size of their CNC milling work to put it on a scale, but it is aluminum, so it is light).

FAQ

How do I mount this dynamic and static pressure UAV pitot tube?

This 7075 aluminum airspeed tube mounts to your fixed-wing or VTOL UAV using the standard 14mm mounting hole distance. You will need to route your own pneumatic tubing from the internal barbs through the wing to your digital airspeed sensor. Ensure the 240mm external section is positioned completely clear of propeller wash for accurate dynamic pressure readings.  Please note, mounting hardware is not included with this item

Disclaimer

Unmanned Tech Shop UK accepts no responsibility if you fail to calibrate your airspeed sensor before launch and your VTOL decides to aggressively inspect a tree. Always clear your dynamic and static ports of debris and moisture before flight.

not bad
Format: Kindle
I loved the plot of this book. The characters just didn’t have a lot of depth. The connections and “love” just weren’t communicated very well in the writing. The author didn’t write the sweet psycho trope very well at all either. Lachlan was just a mess of a character.

A Beta Worth Rooting For
Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

A good read
Format: Kindle
A good read, just fluffy cuteness, no antagonism. I like all the characters. It could have used another round of editing however, glanfds being one error that cracked me up, and my personal pet peeve was that the author kept using the word fill instead of feel, which I promise you are not interchangeable haha, but it's definitely better than the majority of books I read on here mistake-wise.
