Classic high-stim kick with pumps and muscle-swelling support

APS Nutrition Mesomorph Pre-Workout in Rocket Pop flavor is a throwback high-stim pre-workout that focuses on quick energy, sharp focus during training, and better pumps than just caffeine alone. It's not one of those new fully open-label formulas with clinical doses for everything. Instead, it uses old-school proprietary blends mixing aminos and creatine types with a tough stimulant mix. That means you'll probably feel it stronger than the label shows, but you can't check if the doses match exactly what studies use.

The main 6,500mg Synthenox-Carnosine/Nitric Oxide Complex has beta-alanine, L-citrulline DL-malate 2:1, and arginine alpha-ketoglutarate. Beta-alanine helps build carnosine in your muscles, which fights off acid buildup during tough sets and lets you push longer before that burn stops you. Studies like 3.2g daily best, but since it's a prop blend, we don't know the exact amount here. L-citrulline malate boosts nitric oxide for better blood flow; it raises arginine levels better than taking arginine straight because it skips breakdown in your gut and liver. Research shows 6-8g works well, so this is in the right direction, but hidden dose means no full clinical claim. AAKG is an older pump ingredient—not as strong in studies as citrulline, but it adds to the nitric oxide push.

The Mesoswell-Cell Volumizing Matrix includes di-creatine malate, L-taurine, creatine nitrate, ascorbic acid, and creatinol-O-phosphate. Taurine stands out with good research behind it. It acts as an osmolyte—something that helps balance fluids in cells—and supports hydration, calcium movement, and muscle endurance.

Key Highlights

  • 6,500mg complex for pumps and performance — This starts with a big proprietary blend packing beta-alanine, citrulline malate, and AAKG. Doses are hidden, but it's clear they're going for acid fighting and nitric oxide boost over just caffeine.
  • Beta-alanine to fight fatigue — It builds carnosine in muscles to buffer acid from tough sets, helping you delay that burning feeling. Great for drop sets, supersets, and high-volume training.
  • L-citrulline DL-malate 2:1 for nitric oxide — This raises arginine better than arginine alone, leading to fuller muscles, better blood flow, and solid pumps when the dose is right.
  • AAKG for extra nitric oxide help — It's an old-school pump adder that works with citrulline for better vasodilation. Not the strongest solo, but it adds to that dense, full feeling in the gym.
  • Different creatine types for variety — Di-creatine malate and creatine nitrate help with energy recycling, output, and cell swelling. Doses hidden, so think of it as extra support, not your full creatine plan.
  • L-taurine for cell hydration — Backed by good studies for balancing fluids, calcium signals, and endurance. In pre-workouts, it makes muscles feel fuller and training less flat, usually at 1-3g.
  • Creatinol-O-phosphate for niche buffering — This helps with inside-cell acid control and energy support during intense anaerobic work. Not common today, which gives this an old-school edge.
  • Tough energy mix for pros — Caffeine anhydrous, theobromine, 2-aminoisoheptane HCl, geranium extract, and quebracho blanco make a stronger stim feel than regular high-caffeine stuff. You'll notice this first and strongest.

Who Is This For?

  • Seasoned bodybuilders in high-volume phases wanting intensity from the start. The mix of beta-alanine, pumps, taurine, creatine, and strong stims fits those who like loud pre-workouts over smooth ones.
  • Intermediate folks training after work needing to smash fatigue quick. Stims like caffeine-style compounds, 2-aminoisoheptane, theobromine, and naringin shift you into beast mode faster than basics.
  • Pump chasers who still crave big stims. Citrulline malate, AAKG, agmatine, creatine nitrate, and taurine build flow and fullness for chest, shoulders, arms, and rep-heavy work.
  • Athletes in grind phases needing sustained push. Beta-alanine and creatinol-O-phosphate help buffer acid for 8-20 rep sets.
  • High-stim tolerators seeking that category on purpose. It's not subtle; for those who've used strong stuff and know how to handle it.
  • Lifters loving old-school pre feels that new ones dodge. Hidden pumps plus edgy energy deliver that classic kick.

How to Use

If new to this or high stims, start with half a scoop. For vets, one rounded scoop in 8-12 ounces cold water, 20-30 minutes pre-training so stims hit before big sets. Shake in a bottle for even mix—better than stirring. Empty stomach means faster kick; after food smooths it but might dull the edge. Don't add extra caffeine, fat burners, or stims unless you're super tolerant. Add 3-5g daily creatine monohydrate since this is blended. Cycle it—use for hard days or take breaks—to avoid tolerance drop. Store cool and dry with lid tight for freshness. Skip if within 6-8 hours of bed unless you sleep fine post-stims.

What to Expect

Minutes 0-10: After mixing and drinking, it's like any pre powder at first, but you might sense a mental lift as stims start. Minutes 10-20: Caffeine and the energy mix bring alertness, drive, and maybe beta-alanine tingles if dosed high. Minutes 20-40: Peak time for most—focus dials in, motivation surges, and pumps with taurine and creatine make it feel aggressive and full. Minutes 40-90: Energy hangs on thanks to theobromine and naringin, not crashing like plain caffeine. Days 1-7: Stims hit hard from day one; long-term depends on hidden beta-alanine and creatine. Weeks 2-4: If doses are solid, you'll push harder with better buffering, but prop blends limit certainty. Day-one feel is killer; long-term is less predictable.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Mesomorph Rocket Pop a high-stim pre-workout?

Yes. This is firmly in the high-stim category due to its inclusion of caffeine anhydrous, theobromine, 2-aminoisoheptane HCl, geranium extract, and quebracho blanco. It is designed for experienced users who want a pronounced energy and focus effect, not a mild daily pre-workout.

How much caffeine is in Mesomorph?

The exact caffeine amount is not fully disclosed in the verified data provided here because Mesomorph uses proprietary blends and lists methylxanthine anhydrous without a confirmed standalone milligram amount. What is clear is that the formula contains multiple stimulant compounds beyond caffeine itself, so the overall experience is stronger than a simple caffeine-only product.

Does Mesomorph contain DMHA-style stimulation?

Yes, it includes 2-aminoisoheptane HCl, which is commonly associated with DMHA-class stimulant effects. That is one of the main reasons Mesomorph is considered an advanced-user pre-workout rather than a mainstream entry-level formula.

Is Mesomorph good for pumps or just energy?

It is built for both. The label includes citrulline malate, AAKG, agmatine sulfate, creatine nitrate, and taurine, which together support nitric oxide production, blood flow, and cell volumization, while the stimulant matrix drives the aggressive feel.

Should I start with a full scoop?

Not unless you already know you tolerate strong pre-workouts well. Because the stimulant profile is aggressive and the exact stimulant dosages are not fully disclosed, most first-time users should begin with half a scoop to assess tolerance.

Can Mesomorph replace my daily creatine?

No. While it includes di-creatine malate and creatine nitrate, those ingredients are inside a proprietary blend, so you cannot confirm that you are getting the 3-5g daily creatine intake commonly used for saturation. A separate creatine monohydrate remains the more reliable strategy.

Why does Mesomorph include naringin?

Naringin is a flavanone that can inhibit CYP3A4 and P-glycoprotein, which may increase the bioavailability or duration of other compounds in the formula. In practical terms, it is often used to make stimulant-heavy formulas feel more sustained.

Will Mesomorph give me beta-alanine tingles?

Possibly, and many users do associate Mesomorph with that sensation. Beta-alanine is in the primary performance blend, but because the exact amount is hidden, the intensity of tingles will vary by user sensitivity and the true dose in the scoop.

Can I take Mesomorph late at night?

That is generally a bad idea for most people. Between the likely caffeine load, theobromine, and the rest of the stimulant matrix, this formula can linger long enough to disrupt sleep quality and next-day recovery.

What should I stack with Mesomorph for better long-term performance?

The best stack is usually a standalone creatine monohydrate product taken daily, plus intra-workout hydration/electrolytes if your sessions are long or sweat-heavy. Mesomorph covers the acute pre-training experience well, but a separate creatine ensures reliable saturation that the proprietary blend cannot guarantee.

“My heart bows to you and you only, Huntress.”
Format: Kindle
3.5 🌟 This book popped up in my KU recommended reading suggestions and the synopsis sounded like what I was in the mood for. I'm so glad I took a chance on it. I went into this knowing absolutely nothing about it and ended up really liking it. I love when this happens. The main characters are likeable and I easily found myself rooting for them. There is a mystery element to each of their backstories that I enjoyed watching unfold and can't wait to get more of. Wolf, in particular, has me fixated. Love him. I found this to be an entertaining, addictive read with a plot that moves along at a good pace. It reads so easily I found myself very reluctant to put it down. Lots of twists and turns and the angst is there. A good set up for the next book to come, for sure. My issues with this book....the dialogue feels a bit juvenile at times and there is a repetitive over use of a particular word phrasing that I found myself giving the ole eye-roll to. There are, without a doubt, some pretty cliche moments that gave me a bit of the cringe. I think this could've certainly 100% benefited from more depth regarding the world building. Perhaps the world building was sacrificed to keep the pacing quick? Just a guess. Also, the lack of consistency of character for the FMC was really evident and so she feels quite illogical at times. Overall, this was a fun and enjoyable read that hit the spot well enough for me. That ending certainly has me impatiently pining for book 2!

Interesting take on the genre
Format: Kindle
True rating: 3.25 ⭐️ I enjoyed the fresh take on the genre. The best way I could describe the setting and world is an apocalyptic dystopian version of Farie where vampires, fae, and angles struggle to survive in what is left of the world. It was definitely interesting throwing the academy/hunger games aspect into this world as well. Even though I guessed the final reveal early on in the book, I kept hoping I was wrong, and it would take a surprising turn. While the "plot twists" were a bit predictable to me, I still enjoyed the ride this book took me on. Another downfall for me was the plot holes in the world building... I.E. if society has fallen and the world is in the aftermath of war, how are there trains running around the world? Just to take young adults to the trials to get into the golden city? How is the train maintained, the tracks clear, etc? However, I did enjoy the FMC & MMC and thought they were fleshed out nicely. I also enjoyed the side characters but wish some were developed more like Ashalin (sp?). I do find myself rooting for the MCs to succeed and find happiness together, which is obviously an important aspect for romantasy. Overall, was this an earth-shattering, mind-bending, terrific piece of literature? No. But was it the worst thing I've read this year? Also, no. This book has, to me, the bones of a great read & just needs a bit more to push it from an alright book to a great book. Overall ratings: Plot- 3.5⭐️ World building 3⭐️ Spice 2.5 🌶🌶 Main characters 4 ⭐️ Supporting characters 3.5⭐️

great book
Format: Kindle
I am really excited to meet the author at the book retreat this month. I really enjoyed this world that she built and most of the female main character Huntress is so awesome. She goes through a lot in this book and the ending; wow! I wouldn't have even guessed. I highly recommend everyone to read this book. I have been so lucky this year that almost all the books I have read have been, so far, 5 out 5 stars.

Fallen for the Fallen Angel – A Guilty Pleasure Worth Every Page
Format: Kindle
There’s something deeply irresistible about a dark academia or trial-based setting, a brooding and arrogant fallen angel, and a fierce heroine with enough sass to go toe-to-toe with him. Wings So Wicked is exactly that kind of book—and I devoured it in just a couple of days. To be fair, the plot isn’t groundbreaking. If you’re looking for something fresh and innovative in terms of storyline, this might not be it. But if your reader heart beats faster at the mere mention of enemies-to-lovers, jealousy-fueled banter, magical trials, betrayals, and forbidden tension—you’ll feel right at home. It’s like catnip for those of us with this particular weakness. The chemistry between the leads could have used a slightly slower burn to make the tension sizzle longer, but I still found myself completely invested in their dynamic. There are moments and phrases that feel a bit cheesy or underdeveloped, but honestly? I didn’t care. The vibes were exactly what I wanted. This book isn’t trying to reinvent the genre—it’s here to give readers like me what we crave: high-stakes magical drama, angsty romance, and the thrill of watching a badass girl and her brooding counterpart clash and spark. If that sounds like your kind of story, Wings So Wicked will hit the mark. Here’s hoping Book 2 turns up the heat and keeps the magic alive.

my new favorite book
Format: Kindle
Ok so I never write reviews but this book was so good I felt the need to write this. Firstly your introduced to Huntyr you see her closed off hard core badass than towards the end you see the most subtle change and growth it’s amazing and the enemies to friends to lovers was just perfect, AND THE TWIST AT THE END GOT ME GOOD! You see one spicy scene the whole book but it doesn’t even MATTER BECAUSE THE BOOK WAS THAT GOOD. I’ve read 85 books in 2023-2024 so far and I’m pround to say this is my all time favorite. I’m so excited to read more of Emily Blackwoods books, this was my first time reading one of hers and I’m glad I did because HOLY!! Well done Emily well done
