Designed for Miller® welders with a 14-pin spool gun connector, a CV setting, and a contactor, such as the Trailblazer® and XMT® model welders, plus easy to set up. Simply:

  1. Plug the 14-pin plug, supplied with your spool gun, into the 14-pin receptacle on the front of your welder.
  2. Connect the gas hose to your regulator.
  3. Connect the power cable to the positive lug on your welder. It is essential that aluminum is welded DCEP.
  4. Plug the control box (included) into one of the 110v outlets on your welder.
  5. Set your welder to CV mig remote control
  6. Set your wire speed on the box to max set wire speed on the spool gun to 80 set voltage on your engine drive to 22-24 that should get you reasonable close
  7. Weld!

Our state-of-the-art spool gun, available in 25' and 50' lengths, is ideally suited for applications ranging from farm machinery and semi-trailer repair to construction site jobs or any other application where you can't bring the power source directly to the work. Our spool gun also provides an excellent solution for welding aluminum. The distance from the drive rollers to the contact tip is only 8" so feeding problems and birds nesting are virtually eliminated. A remote wire feed adjustment in the spool gun's handle is a real time saver as it eliminates the time consuming walk all the way back to the power source to fine-tune your wire feed rate.

I have to rave about the quality and the "intelligence" of this product. When I first got it, I installed it in my kitchen along an exterior wall, about 25' away from cooking appliances. I was originally looking to purchase a more expensive brand to match the smaller purifier I own but this one was on sale, considerably less expensive than the one I had my eye on. I decided to give the mooka a shot and I was highly impressed. Being a smoker, I was just looking for something to help a little with air quality, I was not expecting this thing to completely filter all the air in the room, removing all the smoke and leaving behind completely pristine, clean air in 30 minutes! As I was smoking, the purifier automatically kicked into high gear, did its job and returned to the near silent setting. Awesome! The machine displays a number that corresponds with the current air quality and a light that changes from red to green, depending on the amount of particles in the air while the fan speed runs accordingly. This feature works well, smoking, cooking or anything that releases particles will instantly be detected. The build quality is on par with the more expensive unit that I have but honestly, I prefer this machine, regardless of price! During normal operation, you can barely hear it but it does get louder when the fan ramps up. On it’s higher setting, it is as loud as a box fan on medium speed and when the mooka goes max speed, it matches the sound level of a box fan set to high speed, if that helps.
