6g Citrulline, AlphaSize® Focus, Transparent Moderate-Stim Performance

Bucked Up Brain Gainz Nootropic is a capsule pre-workout that mixes energy boosts with brain support. It gives you stims and focus to get dialed in, plus blood flow help for better workouts, and extras for endurance and uptake. This isn't a straight nootropic like caffeine with theanine, and it's not a mega-stim bomb. It's a balanced option for folks wanting energy, focus, pumps, and solid sessions in one go.

The big player is 6,000mg citrulline malate. That's a strong dose for boosting nitric oxide, which means better blood flow during lifts. Citrulline turns into arginine efficiently – arginine is what kicks off nitric oxide production for wider blood vessels, more nutrient delivery, and bigger pumps. You'll notice fuller muscles, denser training, and less fatigue late in the game. The malate part helps with energy production, but citrulline is the star here.

Then there's 2,000mg beta-alanine. This one's backed by good research: it helps make carnosine, which fights acid buildup in muscles during efforts lasting 1-10 minutes. Studies show 3,200-6,400mg daily is ideal, so 2,000mg is a bit light but still helps if you take it regularly. You might feel that tingly sensation right away; over time, it builds carnosine for better resistance to burn in reps, circuits, and back-to-back sets.

Key Highlights

  • 6,000mg Citrulline Malate — this is the star dose here, straight from what works in pre-workout studies. It boosts nitric oxide via the arginine pathway, giving you wider blood vessels, bigger pumps, and more blood to your muscles when you're lifting.
  • 200mg Caffeine Anhydrous — a solid middle-ground stim that ramps up alertness, drive, and workout intensity without the jitters or crash from higher doses. For a lot of folks, this hits the spot for energy that's actually useful.
  • 200mg AlphaSize® Alpha-GPC — a quality choline source that helps make acetylcholine, which sharpens attention, muscle control, and that locked-in feeling. It turns raw energy into focused power.
  • 2,000mg Beta-Alanine — not the full 3.2g+ daily dose from studies, but it's enough to make a difference with steady use. It builds carnosine in muscles over time, helping push back the burn that kills high-rep sets and intense efforts.
  • Fully disclosed label — everything's listed out with exact doses, no prop blends hiding stuff. That's huge because you can check it against real research and see how it stacks up to other products.
  • Capsule delivery — perfect for quick grabs without mixing powders, dealing with flavors, or clumps. Great for trips, work-to-gym days, or anyone wanting easy, consistent dosing.
  • AstraGin® at 25mg — a bit under the usual 50mg, but it's there to help with absorption. AstraGin® boosts how your gut takes in nutrients, which fits well with the aminos and performance ingredients here.
  • 100mg Himalayan Rock Salt — a nice little electrolyte boost that ties into the pump and performance vibe. Sodium helps with staying hydrated, blood volume, and smooth muscle contractions, especially when you're sweating hard.

Who Is This For?

  • Hypertrophy lifters chasing pump, dense sessions, and mind-muscle feel over max stims. That 6,000mg citrulline malate and 200mg AlphaSize® alpha-GPC hit right for bodybuilders wanting fuller lifts and sharp focus in volume work.
  • Functional fitness and circuit athletes dealing with repeat grinds. Beta-alanine builds buffering, while 200mg caffeine and 6g citrulline keep output and flow going strong mid-session.
  • Early birds needing a quick flip to workout mode. 200mg caffeine is solid without overkill, and capsules make it simple for rushed mornings.
  • Intermediate gym folks moving past weak energy drinks. This gives real citrulline doses, clear labels, and better focus-performance than plain caffeine stuff.
  • People who dig capsule ease over powder flavors. Brain Gainz packs pre-workout ingredients in a portable way, perfect for commutes, trips, or shaker haters.
  • Users after moderate stims they can recover from. 200mg caffeine is easier than 350-400mg options, and AlphaSize® makes it feel directed, not scattered.

How to Use

Take 4 capsules 20-30 minutes pre-workout with water. Timing lets caffeine act fast, AlphaSize® build focus, and citrulline hit during sets. New to stims or late trainer? Start with 2 to check tolerance. Capsules mean no mixing, but chase with 8-12 ounces of water for breakdown, hydration, and pumps. Empty stomach speeds it up, but if your gut's picky, add a light snack. Don't stack with other high-caffeine stuff unless you're tracking totals. Goes great with creatine, intra electrolytes, and post protein. No need to cycle hard, but mix in low-caffeine days to keep tolerance in check. Store cool and dry with lid tight for fresh capsules.

What to Expect

Minutes 0-10: capsules mean no mixing or heavy gut feel; it's quiet at first, just easy. Minutes 10-20: caffeine kicks in with more alertness and motivation, maybe some beta-alanine tingles if you're sensitive. Minutes 20-40: prime time to start lifting, where 200mg caffeine and 200mg AlphaSize® feel locked in, and 6g citrulline adds pump and flow. Minutes 40-90: energy holds steady, not wild, based on your water, food, and stim tolerance. Days 1-7: you get the quick energy, focus, and flow; beta-alanine is still loading. Weeks 2-4: carnosine builds with regular use, making reps and efforts easier, turning it into a full system beyond basic stims.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much caffeine is in Bucked Up Brain Gainz Nootropic?

A full 4-capsule serving provides 200mg caffeine anhydrous. That places it in the moderate-stim range: strong enough for noticeable energy, alertness, and training drive, but much more manageable than 350-400mg pre-workouts.

Is 6,000mg citrulline malate a real performance dose?

Yes. 6g citrulline malate is firmly in the range most educated buyers look for in a pump-oriented formula. Citrulline supports nitric oxide production, blood flow, and the fuller, more sustained pump that underdosed capsule products often fail to deliver.

Will Brain Gainz make me tingle?

It can. The formula contains 2,000mg beta-alanine, which can cause a harmless tingling sensation called paresthesia in some users. Not everyone feels it the same way, and the real benefit of beta-alanine is long-term carnosine loading rather than the tingles themselves.

Is the beta-alanine dose fully clinical?

Not by the strict research benchmark. Most beta-alanine studies use 3,200-6,400mg daily, so 2,000mg is below the classic clinical loading target. It still contributes over time, especially with consistent use, but it is not a maxed-out beta-alanine formula.

What does AlphaSize® do in this formula?

AlphaSize® is a branded alpha-GPC ingredient included at 200mg to support acetylcholine production. In practical terms, it helps the formula feel more mentally sharp and coordinated, improving focus and mind-muscle connection rather than just increasing raw stimulation.

When should I take Brain Gainz before a workout?

Take 4 capsules about 20-30 minutes pre-workout. That gives the caffeine and AlphaSize® time to come on and positions the citrulline so blood-flow support is active when your working sets begin.

Can I stack Brain Gainz with coffee or an energy drink?

You can, but you need to count total caffeine carefully. Brain Gainz already supplies 200mg caffeine, so adding coffee, energy drinks, or fat burners can push your stimulant intake higher than intended and increase the chance of jitters, rapid heartbeat, or poor sleep.

Is this product a true nootropic or more of a pre-workout?

It is best described as a hybrid. The AlphaSize® and caffeine give it a nootropic-style focus component, but the 6g citrulline malate and 2g beta-alanine make it very clearly training-oriented rather than a desk-work cognitive formula.

Can I take Brain Gainz on rest days?

Yes, especially if you want to keep beta-alanine intake more consistent. The acute effects matter most on training days, but consistent use supports the cumulative side of beta-alanine performance through muscle carnosine loading.

Does this formula use proprietary blends?

No. The label is fully disclosed, which is a major quality signal in this category. You can see every listed active and every dose instead of guessing what is hidden inside a blend.

Fallen Angels, fae, vampires, oh my!
Format: Kindle
Rating: 4.5 | Spice: 2 (but a good slow-burn) • Main Characters: Huntyr and Wolf • I couldn’t wait to read this book; there was so much hype about it! And there was no doubt why. I fell in love with the characters and the plot itself. This book is mainly plot driven more than friction driven but it’s easy to follow along with. The characters are fun, easily understood. The main setting is at an academy where both the main characters are going through trials and building strength for the final test, The Transcendent. There are fantastic side characters as well. I loved the camaraderie between Huntyr and her friends. But we don’t like Lanson. 😆 We do have some plot twists that come into play throughout the book. Secrets and betrayal to be seen. I did adore Wolf and Huntyr’s relationship. It was a classic slow burn trope. They didn’t hit it off fast, but in time their feelings grew. I loved their banter, so sexy. Wolf is your next book boyfriend; Huntyr is your next vampire assassin independent bad-a*s female. Themes include loyalty, trust, self-discovery, a true slow burn romance. Side note: book ends on a angsty cliffhanger! • Emily, thank you for writing this awesome novel and I cannot wait to devour Book 2, Blood So Brutal! 😍 • Happy reading, my lovelies! xo

“My heart bows to you and you only, Huntress.”
Format: Kindle
3.5 🌟 This book popped up in my KU recommended reading suggestions and the synopsis sounded like what I was in the mood for. I'm so glad I took a chance on it. I went into this knowing absolutely nothing about it and ended up really liking it. I love when this happens. The main characters are likeable and I easily found myself rooting for them. There is a mystery element to each of their backstories that I enjoyed watching unfold and can't wait to get more of. Wolf, in particular, has me fixated. Love him. I found this to be an entertaining, addictive read with a plot that moves along at a good pace. It reads so easily I found myself very reluctant to put it down. Lots of twists and turns and the angst is there. A good set up for the next book to come, for sure. My issues with this book....the dialogue feels a bit juvenile at times and there is a repetitive over use of a particular word phrasing that I found myself giving the ole eye-roll to. There are, without a doubt, some pretty cliche moments that gave me a bit of the cringe. I think this could've certainly 100% benefited from more depth regarding the world building. Perhaps the world building was sacrificed to keep the pacing quick? Just a guess. Also, the lack of consistency of character for the FMC was really evident and so she feels quite illogical at times. Overall, this was a fun and enjoyable read that hit the spot well enough for me. That ending certainly has me impatiently pining for book 2!

Interesting take on the genre
Format: Kindle
True rating: 3.25 ⭐️ I enjoyed the fresh take on the genre. The best way I could describe the setting and world is an apocalyptic dystopian version of Farie where vampires, fae, and angles struggle to survive in what is left of the world. It was definitely interesting throwing the academy/hunger games aspect into this world as well. Even though I guessed the final reveal early on in the book, I kept hoping I was wrong, and it would take a surprising turn. While the "plot twists" were a bit predictable to me, I still enjoyed the ride this book took me on. Another downfall for me was the plot holes in the world building... I.E. if society has fallen and the world is in the aftermath of war, how are there trains running around the world? Just to take young adults to the trials to get into the golden city? How is the train maintained, the tracks clear, etc? However, I did enjoy the FMC & MMC and thought they were fleshed out nicely. I also enjoyed the side characters but wish some were developed more like Ashalin (sp?). I do find myself rooting for the MCs to succeed and find happiness together, which is obviously an important aspect for romantasy. Overall, was this an earth-shattering, mind-bending, terrific piece of literature? No. But was it the worst thing I've read this year? Also, no. This book has, to me, the bones of a great read & just needs a bit more to push it from an alright book to a great book. Overall ratings: Plot- 3.5⭐️ World building 3⭐️ Spice 2.5 🌶🌶 Main characters 4 ⭐️ Supporting characters 3.5⭐️

great book
Format: Kindle
I am really excited to meet the author at the book retreat this month. I really enjoyed this world that she built and most of the female main character Huntress is so awesome. She goes through a lot in this book and the ending; wow! I wouldn't have even guessed. I highly recommend everyone to read this book. I have been so lucky this year that almost all the books I have read have been, so far, 5 out 5 stars.

Fallen for the Fallen Angel – A Guilty Pleasure Worth Every Page
Format: Kindle
There’s something deeply irresistible about a dark academia or trial-based setting, a brooding and arrogant fallen angel, and a fierce heroine with enough sass to go toe-to-toe with him. Wings So Wicked is exactly that kind of book—and I devoured it in just a couple of days. To be fair, the plot isn’t groundbreaking. If you’re looking for something fresh and innovative in terms of storyline, this might not be it. But if your reader heart beats faster at the mere mention of enemies-to-lovers, jealousy-fueled banter, magical trials, betrayals, and forbidden tension—you’ll feel right at home. It’s like catnip for those of us with this particular weakness. The chemistry between the leads could have used a slightly slower burn to make the tension sizzle longer, but I still found myself completely invested in their dynamic. There are moments and phrases that feel a bit cheesy or underdeveloped, but honestly? I didn’t care. The vibes were exactly what I wanted. This book isn’t trying to reinvent the genre—it’s here to give readers like me what we crave: high-stakes magical drama, angsty romance, and the thrill of watching a badass girl and her brooding counterpart clash and spark. If that sounds like your kind of story, Wings So Wicked will hit the mark. Here’s hoping Book 2 turns up the heat and keeps the magic alive.
