الشحاذ هي رواية للأديب العالمي نجيب محفوظ التي صدرت في العام 1965. ويُعد نجيب محفوظ من أهم كتاب القرن العشرين. وهو أول مصري يحصل على جائزة نوبل في الأدب. تعتبر رواية الشحاذ من الروايات العربية الفلسفية. تتحدث الرواية باختصار عن حالة "الإفلاس المعنوي" عند الإنسان. السؤال المطروح لتلك الرواية هو: أين مكمن الحياة الذي يبني عليه الإنسان حياته؟، والمشكلة التي تعالجها هي البحث عن مغزى الحياة ومعناها، وذلك من خلال استعراض وقائع حياة بطل الرواية «عمر الحمزاوي». إنها رواية فلسفية بامتياز، تندرج ضمن الفلسفات الوجودية التي عالجت موضوع «الملل»، وإن كان نجيب محفوظ قد أطلق عليه لفظًا بديلًا هو «الضجر»، فهو يقول على لسان بطل روايته «ما أفظع الضجر»، وهو يرى أن «الضجر» هو «الحموضة التي تفسد العواطف». والضجر في اللغة يجمع بين الضيق والملل والسأم والقلق، وكلها مفاهيم ومصطلحات مألوفة في الفلسفة الوجودية

There is no side to side stability
Size: 28 Inch
This product was easy to assemble and install and came with all parts. The product itself is very sturdy, looks good with a nice industrial aesthetic BUT - there is ZERO stability side to side (lengthwise) as the plates which attach to the wood are too small. I have them set closer than the picture so it is not an issue of being too far apart. If anyone else had this problem AND FIGURED OUT A FIX FOR IT - please share!!

Fairly stable. Good value for the price

Great set of stands. You have to tighten them pretty snugly to minimize wobble. Given they are metal they’ll have a little bit more give than solid wood. Even so,
a tall desk I built with them remains stable and level.
