Each of these vases is hand thrown and trimmed on the potter's wheel. After a few days of drying, they are carved with mountains, and then put in the kiln. They are then glazed using a combination of dipping and brushing techniques. The vases are fired to over 2000°. After they have cooled, a thin layer of gold luster is painted on and they go into the kiln for one final firing.
These vases are a truly unique piece of mountain decor.
