Light refracts across the waves and colours merge and flow, as Gill creates distortions that are both photorealistic and atmospheric. The water becomes a veil, enhancing the female form’s radiance.
Framed as through seen from above, the women are shown through a lens of vulnerability, liberation and quiet intensity. Gill paints his muses gently gliding through serene blue waters, luxuriating in tranquillity.
