Ideal for solo performers looking for freedom of movement on stage, the AIRWIRE i58 from Blackstar is a wireless instrument system that utilizes the 5.8 GHz band to avoid interference from common sources like Wi-Fi. With a highly accurate frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz and a low latency of less than 6 ms, the AIRWIRE i58 offers perfectly preserved tone over long 100' distances.
The Cable Tone switch lets you engage a vintage-style roll-off for when you desire a tone that can only come from using a cable. The optimized internal antenna auto switches to always find the strongest signal and avoid crowded frequencies. Each plug-in transmitter and receiver provides up to nine hours of battery life. With support for up to four AIRWIRE i58 systems at once, you can easily expand your setup to facilitate full bands for rehearsals and live performances. Each unit is compact and can fold its 1/4" connector up for wide compatibility with instruments and easy storage. The AIRWIRE i58 includes a USB-C charging cale.
The system operates in the 5.8 GHz range, which is a less crowded frequency band that is unaffected by nearby Wi-Fi. Bluetooth, and most cellular signals. The extremely short latency and accurate frequency response ensure authentic tone and feel, allowing you to achieve the best possible signal and response on stage without the restriction of cables.
The AIRWIRE i58 system offers wireless high-res signal transfer, so there is no treble loss, which can occur when using a long cable. However, the system also offers a switchable Cable Tone feature to simulate the tonal effects of a traditional instrument cable via a vintage-style roll-off.
When fully charged, the system can offer 9 hours of play time, so you’ll never have to worry about running out of battery on stage. To save battery, the Receiver will turn off automatically after 10 minutes if no signal is detected.
