Background
Akt or Protein kinase B, is a serine/threonine kinase that plays an important role in regulating a number of cellular processes such as growth, metabolism and survival. The importance of the Akt pathway is highlighted by the mutation of various components of the pathway in human cancers such as the PTEN and PI3-kinase (P110α), which occur in more than 30% of human tumors. For Akt to achieve full activation, phosphorylation is needed at both serine 473 (ser473) of the hydrophobic tail and threonine 308 (thr308) of the activation motif, upon growth factor ligation to the receptor tyrosine kinases.

Dog approved.

I’m a 70 lbs Goldendoodle (supposed to be 65, don’t ask) and I love cheese. Real cheese. Sharp cheddar with sourdough bread is my dream, but apparently I’m “on a health journey,” so my people bought me this instead.
Does this bone actually taste like cheese? No. I am not fooled.
Do I still enjoy chewing it loudly while my humans are trying to watch TV? Absolutely yes.
This bone satisfies my need to chew and my emotional desire for cheese-adjacent activities. It keeps me busy, saves the furniture, and lets me crunch dramatically during important dialogue scenes. The yellow color is nice — very cheese-coded — although some cheeses are white, so just something to consider for future versions.
Also, good news: it doesn’t smell like cheese at all, which my humans seem very grateful for. Apparently they don’t want the carpet to smell like a deli. Weird.
Final verdict:
Not cheese.
Still enjoyable.

Puppy loves it! Great activity.

My 5 month old puppy absolutely loves this toy. She spends hours chewing on it and squeaking. It’s heavy enough duty that she can’t bite the side parts off but she can munch on it at the back of her teeth. Great for cleaning teeth! She did bite some of the little nubs off but I expected some of that. It’s really the perfect hardness for her. Worth buying!
