artist bio
Pierre Sager Olofsson was born February 4, 1921 in Paris. He was a Swedish painter, print maker and sculptor.

Olofsson first studied art at Otte Sköld's s malarskola (painting school) from 1937-38. He then attended the  Konsthögskolan (Royal Swedish Academy of Arts) in Stockholm from 1938-43. A comitted concretist (Konkretism), Olofsson was a member of '1947 års män' (The Men of 1947).

The '1947 års män' were the artists who exhibited in April 1947 at the collective exhibition Ung konst  (Young Art) at Galleri Färg och Form at Brunkebergstorg in Stockholm. This exhibition has been referred to in art history writing as the single most important factor for concrete art's breakthrough in Sweden. Those who participated in the exhibition were Olofsson plus nine men and one woman: the painters Lennart Rodhe, Olle Bonniér, Karl Axel Pehrson, Randi Fisher (the one female member), Olle Gill, Lage Lindell, Armand Rosander and Uno Vallman, and sculptors Liss Eriksson and Knut Erik Lindberg.

In addition to his career as a painter, print maker and sculptor, Olofsson was also in demand as a designer and colourist for industry, mainly Husqvarna and Saab where he collaborated intimately with Swedish industrial designer Sixten Sason and also in later years with Björn Envall. Together with Sune Envall, Olofsson designed Husqvarna's new logo, which became the company's last before the merger with Electrolux. Olofsson also worked with the colouring of interiors and exteriors of industrial buildings including LKAB in Kiruna, Pharmacia in Uppsala  Sundsvallsbanken's head office in Stockholm, and Fortifikationsförvaltningen in Stockholm.

Olofsson is represented in numerous public collections including works held at the Moderna Museet in Stockholm, the Nationalmuseum in Stockholm, Malmö Art Museum, Norrköping Art Museum, Kalmar Art Museum and at Sundsvall Museum.

He passed away at the age of 75 on March 17, 1996 in Stockholm.

Very durable and my dog loves it.
This is a great ball for the dog. It is very durable and has led light inside. Easy for me to throw and great for playing with my dog. No noise just the lights. What a great value. Even the smaller dogs can play with this one. Smaller and lighter .

Great toy!
Size: Small Size
My Frenchie absolutely loves this toy!!! It keeps her occupied for a long time. Has held up well to her chewing, and she's able to pick it up and carry it.
