Richard has had a long-time enjoyment of beauty, colour and gardening, including flower species, courtyards and rambling gardens. His love of flowers and nature often resonate in his floral and boutique garden paintings.

The most common meanings for Bearded Iris include hope, wisdom, trust and valour, making it a great flower to have around the house.

The iris was originally cultivated in 1749 BC, after King Thutmose III conquered Syria. This land was covered in irises. The name "iris" means 'rainbow' in Greek, which is fitting for a flower that comes in so many colours!
Irises were said to represent the messenger of the gods in Greek Mythology, Iris

For nearly four decades, Richard Pomare Chrisp has devoted himself to the exquisite world of watercolours. As vibrant as the artist himself, his watercolour creations persistently mirror his emotions, passions, and elation.
They vividly encapsulate the enchantment of Theatre, Opera, and the picturesque Italian Tuscany sienna countryside, and the romance of Paris.
Within his art, we rediscover recollections of historical European landscapes, charming boutique gardens, and delicate botanicals, all elegantly brought to life.
On paper, his work becomes a testament to his fascination with foreign languages, a profound love for the musical arts, and a special connection to Italian and French Theatre, where colourful friendships bloom.
Through his watercolours, Richard takes us on a journey through cherished memories, evoking The Opera and the enduring bonds with lifelong friends.
His art pays homage to the allure of Paris, the rustic beauty of Tuscany's fields, and the grandeur of mansions filled with eclectic, treasured memories.

In the present day, Richard Chrisp resides on the picturesque Coromandel Peninsula in New Zealand, where he has chosen to make his home for an extended period. His art is characterized by the influence of his time in Europe and his unique fusion of artistic styles.

Chrisp's work has been likened to artists David Jones, Matisse, Raoul Dufy and Cezanne, showcasing an energetic personality evident in his interior, landscape and floral paintings.

Great Quality, Great Price.
Color: Black
I have used this for a few days now and it works great. It is very well made and has a large range of adjustability. It is quite small and easy to store. Definitely worth the money.

Nice Grinder at a Great Price
Color: Black
I bought this to use primarily as a travel grinder and found that it is great for every day use. It is not meant for large amounts but it is perfect for single, smaller brewing situations. The grind selection worked well and I "dialed" the proper ground size for my single sized pour over coffee maker.

Ceramic burr destroyed itself
Color: Silver
For the first two-plus months it worked fine -- the perfect grind and the perfect amount with a full barrel for my oversized coffee mug. I've been using it once daily, more or less, on a medium grind setting of 25, and this morning the ceramic burr started to eat itself. This is not acceptable. Follow up: Circle Joy contacted me and offered to give a full refund on this purchase, which was gratefully accepted. This is outstanding customer service.

Best price for better tasting coffee
Color: Silver
I am a coffee snob. I only get beans. I have been using a magic bullet blender to grind, which actually does extremely well, but the grind wasn't quite even enough. So I found the cheapest, ok quality grinder I could and bought this one. I absolutely love it. It take a while to grind, and it only does a little at once, but whatever. This thing works great and my grounds are now even. The burrs seem to be of decent quality and the whole device works smoothly.

Reliable favorite kitchen tool
Color: Blue
This wonderful tool may be the most used tool in our kitchen. The hardest thing about it is to remember you can push the button and it runs- you don't have to hold it!. The charge on the rechargable battery last a long time- about 1 recharge per month- and we use it daily. We use the mixer attachment most. It works great for protein powders, collagen, iced tea or lemonade mix. It cleans easily and is waterproof- just make sure the cover is over the charging port. We have used it to froth milk, whip eggs, and as I said we use it daily to mix beverages. I worried about the price, but it is a great value because we bought it in December 2024 and it is more powerful and has already lasted longer than two whimpy ones.
