Gandalf Jade Plant is a compact branching evergreen succulent with a thick trunk like stem that resembles a miniature tree as it matures.  The rich green fleshy upright foliage emerges rolled into itself creating a tubular affect and earns bright red tips in sun exposure.  If grown outdoors, small clusters of white flowers bloom in spring.  Best color with full sun and dry to medium well-drained soils.  Drought and heat tolerant once established.  Gandalf is resistant to verticillium wilt.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance.  Watch for mites, scale, and aphids.  Roots will root in poorly drained soils.  Susceptible to mealybugs and fungal disease in too moist soils.
