Altano Douro RedThe 2019 Altano Douro Red is a blend of Touriga Franca 40%, Tinta Roriz 30% and Tinta Barroca 30%, aged in a mix of American and French oak barrels. In the glass the wine displays a solid garnet color throughout. It has beautiful, rich fragrance of bing cherry, black berry, mulberry fruits, a mix of wild herbs, spices and wildflowers that's backed with a subtle dark chocolate and roasted coffee note. As expected, it is pleasantly full on the palate
