Just who are the Five O'Clock Heroes? the short answer is that they're the two parts British, two parts American band whose take on the late-70's jerk-pop mastery of the likes of Joe Jackson and Elvis Costello has been causing a quiet stir on both sides of the atlantic, and have now set their long-gestating debut album, 'bend to the breaks', out into the world. A record so riddled with post-punk infectiousness, it should come bearing it's own std warning!!!! Sparsely recorded on their own buck in former smashing pumpkin James Iha's New York studio, 'bend to the breaks' is a jerking, jittery post-punk meister work that's less concerned with aspirations of skuzzy NY cool and concentrates instead on the multi-faceted delights of razor-sharp pop song-writing, with doffs of the cap to the likes of the cars and - gasp! - the police. Support slots with the rakes, Brendan Benson (the Greenhornes / the raconteurs), the bravery, jet and Slbert Hammond jr. Have ensured their music has reached a considerable audience. Solid groundwork has been laid with a huge national competition to design a brand new album cover for the band. Congratulations to our winner Jack Breukelaar. Jack's artwork will feature on the first pressing of albums and will be included in all marketing for the album. As with all stuffed toys, supervision is needed.
I have a 6 month old standard size Golden Doodle who has gone through several raccoon toys. He loves their tails and to make them squeak. He knows the word raccoon, so when the last one “died”, I had to get another. This one is well made and has a magnificent tail. It did not take long, however, for Marvin to amputate two of the raccoon’s feet and pull the stuffing out. Luckily, I was able to get it from him before he swallowed any, and was able to sew up the injuries and return it to him for another round of play. I do not expect more from a stuffed toy, but I do not leave my dog alone with one and accept that supervision is always necessary. This raccoon is charming and when it “dies” I will probably buy it again. Five stars!

My Cardigan Corgi loves this toy!
My 33-lb. Cardigan Corgi loved her raccoon toy so much that she finally tore off its tail and I had to get her another one. Good toy for a medium-sized doggo.
