Complete, Unplayed, and Unpunched!
The cover (near new condition with only minor flaws), magazine with rules attached (near new condition except for what might be some aging), full-color 22"x34" map (near new condition except perhaps for minor creasing at the corners), and 200 counters (unpunched, nicely-centered on both sides, new condition except for minor aging\soiling to the white markers and minor rubbing to the black counters) are all in near new to new condition. Included here is a page of errata from S&T 126 that was not part of the original game.
Campaigns in the Valley is an operational simulation of the 1862 and 1864 campaigns in the Shenandoah Valley. Even near the end of the war the Confederates were able to rain havoc in the Valley with General Early and his Confederates narrowly missing an opportunity to sack Washington and possibly bring down Lincoln's government. With Grant being preoccupied on the campaign nearer to Richmond only Lincoln's frank letter to Grant which resulted in Sheridan's appointment to head forces in the Valley averted disaster.
