This model completes the set of Freightliner locomotives in this run by representing a “low-emission” variant. The locomotive remained relatively anonymous in this livery until 10 June 2019, when Freightliner repainted 66587 and unveiled it at Southampton Docks in the striking magenta colour scheme of Ocean Network Express, marking Freightliner’s new partnership with the global container shipping company. It was given a name for the first time: “As One, We Can”. This locomotive has now received the modified driver’s door handle arrangement, with the upper handle plated over.
