"The fifth LP by English guitarist Jon Collin is also his first U.S. release. Jon first came to our attention when he started the Winebox Press label. This fairly nuts project involved choosing a wooden object (like a wine box or door) from which to create cases (some of them quite complex) for cassettes he released. The size of the edition was determined by the number of the packages he was able to create from the original object, and the label's creations were pretty amazing. Some of his early bands, like Whole Voyald Infinite Light and the Serfs were documented, along with artists like the Hunter Graccus, Chora and Taming Power. Eventually he began to issue solo recordings, and they sounded as brilliant as they looked. This led to occasional U.S. tours, interest from other labels and a worldwide explosion of all things JON COLLIN. Well, that's not all really true. But the basics are. Collin is a wonderful player, incorporating the distention of Loren Connors alongside the blues figures of Jack Rose and the lyrical melodicism of Robbie Basho. He can also throw in blurts that are pure Derek Bailey to throw the punters off, but that's his business. This new album (which will be followed in a few months by Volume 2) is a lovely example of his most evolved beauty-moves, riven with hairs and rivers of discord, but generally dedicated to expanding (rather than collapsing) the head of anyone who will take the time to listen. Perfect for sensitive skin

I have insanely sensitive, blemish prone skin and have been struggling to find skincare products that don’t irritate my skin. This was recommended to me by my dermatology office and I’m obsessed. My skin doesn’t get irritated and I don’t break out. It feels amazing. Not too thick, not too thin. As an added bonus, it smells great.

Great for sensitive skin and moisture protection

I love this brand of products and i initially bought this thinking it was a facial lotion. I was going to return it but I was pleasantly surprised after feeling the texture and then trying it out. My skin was in a drying phase so after using this I could sense a noticeable improvement in my skins softened and hydration. There is no scent and it has a very rich lather so a little goes a long way. The amount is perfect for the price and it is one of the better values.

Best face lotion for combination skin

Best face lotion. Leaves my skin feeling hydrated without being oily (I have combination skin). Only downside is no sun protection. But lotions with sunscreen tend to make me break out. Ive used this lotion for about 8 years and its the only one that I dont break out with.

My Holy Grail for really good moisturizing!!

Ok this is long but worth it, I hope.
I absolutely LOVE this moisturizer. It is very moisturizing, and doesn't just sit on top of your skin, it soaks in! I messed up my skin barrier with some products because as I hit my 40's it couldn't handle the strong stuff (Retinal, Vit C, AHA/BHA) that I have used daily for 20 yrs. So rude, like hormone changes and wrinkles weren't enough, lol. All of a sudden my super oily skin was still oily, but also had really dry spots. I was at a loss. This moisturizer works so well and helped repair my skin barrier without breaking me out!!
I also use the Avene Thermal Spring Water spray, it also really helped me get my skin back under control and I will never stop using it. The water spray is super light, feels like water, and soaks in so well... truly is very moisturizing while being super light. I apply that first, then my serums and moisturizer.
**Other products I also use: the Avene Cleanance Concentrate I use on my areas where I get blemishes (still getting breakouts in your 40's is also rude)... it helps those areas stay clear but moisturized, doesn't dry my skin at ALL. Also use there Retrinal and A-Oxitive... my skin just was not tolerating my usual stronger Retinal and VitC. These two work really well without the irritation!! Iise them on alternating days for now. I have tried many many brands, skincare is my thing...and I truly love every single product I have used by this brand, really am glad I found this product line!! Hope this helps someone.
