LIONHEART - UNEARTHED LEFTOVERS

元アイアン・メイデンのデニス・ストラットン、後にMSGに参加するスティーヴ・マン、ロッキー・ニュートンを中心に結成されたライオンハートの結成時の貴重なデモ・セッションが登場！

ライオンハートは１枚のアルバムのみを発表して解散してしまいますが、デモは多く録音しておりその多くが後にデモ集「UNEARTHED」で発表されました。

今回それには未収録で元タイガース・オブ・パンタンのジェス・コックスがヴォーカリストで参加した結成当時のデモが初登場。

NWOBHM２大バンドの元メンバーが結成したバンドという事で当時かなり話題となりましたが、バンドの方向性とジェスのヴォーカル・スタイルが合わずジェスは僅か三ヶ月の在籍のみで、この音源はその短期間に録音された事になります。

後に発表されるテイクよりスピーディな「LIONHEART」や後のジェスのソロ・アルバムに収録される曲等、興味深い内容でマニアは必聴でしょう。さらにアルバムにも参加したチャド・ブラウン在籍時１９８５年のＴＶ出演時のライヴも２曲収録。

彼らはアルバム発表後、これ以外に１回しかライヴを行っていない為、こちらも非常に貴重なライヴ音源と言えます。
