The BD name became recognized in 1989, when the company introduced the first exhaust brake for the burgeoning diesel pick-up truck market. BD's roots, however, actually date back to 1972, when Valley Fuel Injection, Ltd. first opened its doors. Today, Valley Fuel Injection and BD Diesel Performance are one, with eight specialty divisions that focus on diesel power train components: Fuel Injection Calibration Department, Exhaust Brake Manufacturing, Electronic Circuit Design and Assembly, Transmission and Torque Converter Design and Remanufacturing, Turbocharger Design, Installation and Research and Development. Bought this as a graduation gift for a sons friend who admired a similar one on vacation with us. He really liked it and it is a nice entry level dress watch for those who like to collect them. It was easy to adjust the band with a personal watch kit and was heavier than I expected.

Premium quality at a reasonable price. Simple and elegant. I have yet to wear this watch without receiving multiple compliments, even in sweatpants on my way to the gym. I took it to a high-end jewelry store to have some links removed, the master jeweler there immediately commented on the quality of the movement and what an underrated watch Tissot makes. (Mind you, he had a table full of Rolexes, AP's and Pateks that he was working on) Very comfortable to wear, heavy enough to feel it on your wrist and light enough where it doesnt not become cumbersome.
