The 1/72 Airfix Boeing B-17G / Fortress Mk.II kit presents a detailed model of one of the most iconic heavy bombers of World War II. This version allows for the construction of either the American B-17G or the RAF’s Fortress Mk.II, offering flexibility in markings and historical context.
The kit features a fully detailed interior including the cockpit, bomb bay, and crew stations, with optional open or closed bomb bay doors. Surface detail is crisply moulded with recessed panel lines, and defensive armament such as turrets and machine guns is finely rendered. Undercarriage parts are robust, and the clear parts provide excellent visibility of interior sections.
