This magnificent pendant centres on a large and fine 1.3 carat diamond, which is suspended from two smaller diamonds - all with millegrain settings. A further sixty-three diamonds totalling 2.9 cts make up the pendant, which is suspended from a platinum chain. 

King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra were the leaders of high society during the late 1800s and early 1900s, and the trends they set in fashion and jewellery became known as the 'Edwardian style'. The most typical Edwardian jewellery incorporated a lavish profusion diamonds usually set in platinum, just like this pendant. 

This pendant would make a fine addition to any antique jewellery collection, as well as a spectacular adornment for a wedding or formal occasion.

A good buy especially for young kids
Our community is providing school supplies this year for an elementary school that we adopted. Backpacks are in big demand but, as you know if you’ve been shopping, pretty pricey. I bought the large backpack which, as you can see in the photo, is more than tall enough for a standard manila folder. The stitching seems sound and the straps work as you would expect; it also has two side pockets. If I had to pick a weak spot, I’d say it’s the zipper, especially the one on the front pouch. It’s not a problem at the moment but it’s nylon, not metal, and so I don’t expect it to last forever. But if it gets through one school year, I consider that good. I think it’s a pretty good buy if you’re on a budget.
