L'activité criminelle est endémique dans la ville frontière de Fortune City, et maintenant le shérif a disparu sans laisser de trace. Avec peu de temps pour le trouver, les joueurs doivent travailler ensemble pour résoudre le crime. Au cours du jeu, votre enquête vous mènera à travers Fortune City, avec des indices et des objets étranges à trouver tout au long. Vous devrez chercher des réponses dans le saloon, la pharmacie, l'armurier, le bureau de poste, la prison et la banque. Mais dans une tournure unique, vous déciderez de l'ordre dans lequel vous visiterez ces lieux et qui vous interrogerez en cours de route.
