The body of the clarinet is made from grenadilla wood and crafted with Buffet’s new cylindrical bore. The shape of the bore, inspired by the BC20, gives the clarinet a round and rich sound.
Unique to the Legende and Divine models, the tone holes are made from Greenline material for extra stability. A right-hand vent key has been added to this model to aid intonation of low F. The tenons are secured with metal caps to help reduce the risk of cracks.
The Legende has been beautifully designed, featuring silver plated keywork with rose gold-plated fixings. Thanks to Buffet’s latest ergonomic developments, the keywork feels comfortable and falls naturally under the fingers.
Buffet has been producing clarinets since 1825 and are well respected within the industry. Buffet clarinets are commonplace in orchestras and ensembles across the world.
The Buffet Legende Bb clarinet is supplied with a lockable High-tech single case covered in brown leather, and an exclusive case cover. It also includes two barrels, a pull through, cork grease, a sample reed, pencil and silver-plated ligature and cap.
