Small clusters of outward facing cup shaped flowers have rose pink backs and white faces, or varying degrees of flushed edging, and bloom from winter well into spring attracting butterflies and pollinators. Best bloom in dappled sun and moist well drained alkaline soils. All parts of the plant are toxic if ingested.
