John Carter Warlord of Mars Adventure Gaming Handbook (soft cover, 63 pages, copyright 1978) has interior pages that are smooth, off-white, unmarked, and in high level excellent condition with only minor flaws, though there is noticeable aging.  The front cover is in very good condition as there are a number of slight flaws (such as an area of 1.5”x0.5” which bulges up likely due to being wet, noticeable general soiling, creases emanating from the spine, etc., see SuperSize Pictures), though the art retains most of its original appeal.  The back cover has creases from being held and soiling and is in excellent condition.  All pages are firmly attached to the binding.  The Handbook is extremely hard to find!  The Barsoomian Battle Manual (the other Heritage Models licensed John Carter book) was also listed in our store when this was posted); a rare opportunity to pick up both John Carter of Mars titles!

The John Carter Warlord of Mars Adventure Gaming Hanbook was one of only two games licensed by Edgar Rice Burroughs (the other was SPI's John Carter Warlord of Mars).  The Handbook covers Man to Man combat rules, while the companion book, Barsoomian Battle Manual covered large scale miniatures battles. The Handbook also includes Ethnic Descriptions and a Paint Guide for each of the Martian Races along with a number of the Creatures.

For shipping this book will be wrapped in plastic and taped between two extremely sturdy sheets of cardboard!

Good for medium and large dogs not good for small dogs
Too big for dogs under 15 pounds. Treats are hard to get out of the four corners. My dog can barely pick this up. She weighs 12 pounds. She still found it interesting though trying to dig the treats out that she was unsuccessful. Even after I cut all the little triangle prongs off the four corners the treats are still stuck in there. There is a slot on the side that I can put half of a dental refill in the side and she can eventually get it out so there’s still somewhat of play and challenge received, but not that satisfied to me.

My phone has hundred of pictures of Pickle holding this. She’s doing it right now. If you have a strong destructive dog that takes pride in destroying toys, ruin their confidence and get them this one.
