Improvements Over the Original

The Mighty+ (Plus) Vaporizer is very similar to its older brother. The changes to its design are not drastic, but they are very welcome additions.

Plastic Shell

The plastic body of the Mighty+ (Plus) Vaporizer might look the same as the original at first glance. After looking a little closer, you’ll notice there are three key differences:

1. New Mighty+ (Plus) Feet

New plastic fins for increased stability were added along the bottom of the Mighty Plus. One of the biggest complaints about the original is that it’s not very sturdy when standing vertically. 

These new feet make the Mighty+ much less likely to tip over while filling a bowl. It’s also less likely to scare the living daylights out of you by falling over in the middle of an unscheduled nap.

2. Improved Mighty+ (Plus) Body Ridges

The original Mighty Vaporizer has horizontal ridges to help maintain a firm grip. They are straight, thick, and deep. Does it get any better than that? As it turns out, size isn’t everything.

The ridges on the Mighty+ (Plus) Vaporizer have been completely redesigned. They are now shallower, so they apply less pressure to your fingers during use. This increases comfort so that you can use the Mighty+ longer.

The reduced depth of the ridges means it is much easier to clean between them. A wet cotton swab is more than adequate to reach the bottom of the crevice to remove any trapped debris.

If you think making the ridges smaller lowers gripping power, the new curved shape more than makes up for it. The curves add surface area, which improves grip. Trust us, it’s science. 

3. Orange Buttons

Ok, so admittedly, this change doesn’t add a whole lot. It probably won’t sway a potential buyer either way. However, it does add a little extra cohesion to the overall look of the Mighty+ (Plus) Vaporizer.

The power button has always been orange, but the up/down arrow buttons on the front used to be grey. The bright-coloured buttons do actually serve a purpose other than appearance. It’s much easier to see the buttons in the dark, meaning you spend less time fumbling around and more time enjoying your vape.

USB-C Charging

USB-C is the ultimate standard these days. If you don’t have it, you’re going to be left behind no matter who or what you are. The Mighty+ (Plus) Vaporizer offers a supercharger function thanks to USB-C, which provides an 80% charge in just 40 minutes.

USB-C charging is also more widely available than the old adapter method. Any outlet or USB port is a potential power source. 

The USB-C port also allows for passthrough charging. This is the same as the original Mighty, but now you have many options for where to plug in.

Ceramic Heating Chamber

Also known as the bowl, the heating chamber in the original Mighty is made of aluminium. The new and improved chamber in the Mighty+ (Plus) Vaporizer is made of ceramic.

While vapour production and flavour remain relatively the same between the two, ceramic offers more long-term durability. High-temperature tolerance is of utmost importance in a device capable of temperatures up to 210°C.

Ceramic bowls also have the advantage of being easier to clean. Aluminium bowls have a reputation for staining and turning a yellowish brown. It doesn’t affect function, but it looks bad. Ceramic chambers clean up easier and offer a fresh look.

UL Certification

UL (Underwriter Laboratories) certification might not seem like a big deal to a lot of people, but it really is. UL is a third-party agency that specialises in safety science. 

To receive certification, a product needs to pass rigorous safety testing. The Mighty+ (Plus) is literally the only dry herb vaporizer in the world with UL certification. It gives peace of mind knowing your new vape is certified safe.

Faster Heat-Up Time

Heat-up time is the one area where the original Mighty and Mighty+ (Plus) Vaporizers lag slightly behind the competition. The OG Mighty took about 80 seconds to reach the set temperature. It was never considered a big deal because of how well the vape works overall.

The Mighty+ (Plus) shaves 25% off of the heat-up time, bringing it down to a reasonable 60 seconds. It’s not going to win any races, but it’s a big improvement. One minute is well worth the wait to enjoy arguably the best portable vaping experience.

Easy to Use

The Mighty+ (Plus) Vaporizer is all about getting down to business. It features three easy-to-see and easy-to-press buttons. All functions are performed by pressing a specific combination of these buttons.

• Turning On the Mighty+: Press the power button for just a half-second to activate the device and begin the heat-up process. This is much more intuitive than the three to five rapid button presses required by other vaporizers.
• Changing From Fahrenheit to Celsius: Fahrenheit doesn’t make much sense to us, but millions of people measure temperature in this unit. No matter which you prefer, you can instantly change the unit by pressing the up and down arrows simultaneously.
• Activating the Booster: After reaching the base temperature, pressing the power button twice will activate the booster mode. The default booster setting adds 15°C to the current temperature. After activating the boost mode, you can increase or decrease the boost amount by pressing the up or down arrows.
• Activating the Superbooster: If you need a bit more power after activating the booster, press the power button three times to activate the superbooster. The superbooster quickly increases the temperature by another 15°C by default. Just like the regular booster, the up and down arrows adjust the amount of the boost.

Still Rock Solid

The Mighy+ (Plus) Vaporizer is still a rugged beast of a machine. It’s manufactured with the same medical-grade plastic as the original Mighty.

The Mighty has always been known for its impressive durability. While the Mighty+ (Plus) Vaporizer doesn’t make improvements in this area, it doesn’t need to. It’s still one of the most durable portable vaporizers ever created, and it should keep you puffing for a very long time.
