Bastien Gautheron is a rising star in Burgundy. Encouraged by his wife, Daphné, friends, and wine community, Bastien Gautheron took the leap and became a first-generation producer, creating Maison Gautheron d’Anost in a small cellar in the village of Couchey. His first vintage produced was in 2020.

Creating a new domaine in Burgundy is no easy task. Bastien purchased two vineyards in Savingy-lès-Beaune and in the Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Beaune AOC, both farmed organically since 2017.

In the cellar, the grapes are handled in a way to limit extraction, with a maximum of two punch-downs before alcoholic fermentation, followed by daily pump-overs. The wines are fermented with natural yeast in stainless steel containers. All the wine is aged in barrel, although his approach is different depending on the grape and cuvée. The white wines are aged in both 228-liter and 350-liter barrels.

The future is extremely exciting for Maison Gautheron d'Anost. Just this Fall, he completed a brand new "urban chai" in the city of Dijon. Bastien has a strong connection to Dijon, having grown up in the Eiffel district of the city, just adjacent to some of the last vineyards at the time in Dijon. He has planted Chardonnay in the hillsides surrounding Dijon. a return to the past given that Dijon in the 1800s was a town of 60,000 people, with 3,000 hectares of vineyards! This year we are introducing his first every release under the Bourgogne Dijon label. While he currently has 2 hectares planted in the hills of Dijon, his ultimate goal is to increase that to a total of 4 hectares.

Pommard Les Vignots is located on the upper slope of the combe behind the village of Pommard, on the Beaune side, and with southern exposure. The soil in Pommard is ancient alluvium on the lower ground, clay-limestone on the midslope, and Jurassic marls, brown calcic soils, and brown limestone soils higher up. I love the aromatics on this wine, with its beautiful spicy, cherry-skin note. A very elegant style of Pommard that drinks well now but will age nicely over the next 7 to 10 years.

Great quality wire for any automotive or 12 volt wiring
Size: 16 AWG-100 ft
This GS Power 16 gauge wire is excellent quality for any automotive wiring project. The copper is true OFC pure copper, not copper clad aluminum. It’s flexible, easy to route, and holds up well without the insulation feeling cheap or brittle. I have used it for automotive accessory wiring and some 12V equipment projects and it handled everything perfectly. The wire pulls cleanly, solders well, and the insulation thickness gives it a durable feel without being overly bulky. If you need dependable wire for automotive, marine, RV, audio, or general electrical projects, this is a great buy. I would absolutely purchase it again.

Not the sorry copper coated aluminum.
Size: 16 AWG-100 ft
The wire is 16 gauge plenty big for my system. Heck, the wires supplied with my stereo, copomonet speakers, and amplifiers are about 20 or 24 gauge. I'm quite sure the wire will be more than suffeceint. I, m installing a mono sub amplifier a four-way amplifier to the sub amp outputs and the front of lines of the stereo. I'm gonna be pushing 20 speakers all except the sub woofer only pushing 100 watts a channel and the sub will push 150 watts. That makes 21 altogether. Not much just good clean sound. I've been working on the project going on 5 years now. Been bargain hunting, besides the work I've only got about $650 in the project. Can't wait to get it completed here around the end of July. Hopefully, it will sound great didn't want to pay anyone. Seen too many "professional" jobs that were subpar. I've seen some nightmares. Figured if l did the job then who could I blame at least I can only blame myself and didn't pay $1,000 for it. 😁🤔
