- Bright white halogen light for a cool light with no reflections of obstructions.
- Insufflation port for manipulation of the tympanic membrane (bulb not included)
- Handle powered by 2 regular AA alkaline batteries.
- Variable illumination strength via the handle rheostat dial.

Halogen Pocket Ophthalmoscope

- Small - allows quick entry into small, undilated pupils.
- Medium - provides excellent view of fundus through an undilated pupil.
- Large - general examination of the eye through dilated pupil.
- Fixation Cross - cross-hairs for measuring eccentric fixation or locating lesions.
- Slit - used to determine levels of lesions and tumors.
- Cobalt Blue - used with flourescein dye to view small lesions, abrasions and foreign objects on the cornea.
- Red-Free Filter - filters out red light for easy identification of veins, arteries and nerve fibers.
- 48 focusing lenses with a range of -20 to +20 diopters, adjustable via easy-to-reach maywheel.
- Soft brow-rest suitable for use with spectacles.

Very pretty and bright. It’s thick and great quality. Strong grip and doesn’t come off easily. Easy to clean when it gets dirty. It also has a nice backing. I prefer the transparent bright pink backing than the clear version. I love the strong magnetic for when I position it upwards. It can be positioned downwards too.
