Installation Guide

2. Drain the old engine oil and gear lube completely from the engine and lower unit.
3. Remove the old oil filter and fuel filter from the engine.
4. Install the new oil filter (35-8M0123025) included in this kit.
5. Install the new fuel filter (35-8M0106635) included in this kit.
6. Refill the engine with the recommended marine engine oil (sold separately).
7. Refill the gearcase with the included quart of high performance gear lube.
8. Replace the gearcase drain seals with the two new seals provided.
9. Check all fittings and connections for tightness and leaks.
10. Start the engine and run it briefly to circulate new fluids.
11. Inspect for any leaks or issues after the engine has run.
12. Dispose of old oils and filters according to local regulations.
