Supplied in a range of lengths, this 76mm wide base post is ideal for mounting signage with lighting along roadsides and in car parks. At the base of the post, there is an inspection hatch that allows easy access for maintenance and installation of electrical equipment.
The base of this wide base post is flared out to 140mm, ensuring there is enough room for any equipment to be terminated and installed within the post.
The composition of the post is S275 grade steel, which has been hot-dip galvanised, ensuring corrosion resistance for many years to come. The base of these posts comes bare as standard, but if required, can be supplied with either a bituminous or glass flake root to inhibit corrosion further. This coating normally finishes 250mm above the finished ground level.
